In my opinion I think City will divert attention to the domestic cups & CL..I’m not saying they are throwing in the towel but chase is far too much for them whilst they entertain the cups..

Plus we’re living rent free in Pep & City’s head...😎

I do not give a sh*t about points. We need just one point above everyone. I would be happy if it is 105, 96, 85, etc We just need to win 14 out of 15 games and we're fine.

The way I see it, City is capable of dropping another 3-6 points. So it's about 92 or 93 for me.

I just spied on blue moon. And there's pretty serious talk about their players looking knackered.

Assuming this plays out on on the pitch, I can see them losing at least one and drawing or losing another. That makes 92, or 93 at best for them.

They have a lot of games in Feb, eve with their massive squad, it takes its toll playing so many games.

I'm f***in sh*te at matgs,  see, Can't even f***in spell it, anyhoo simplest equation is Shitty need to win every f***in game they have left and hope that we don't,  and even then its not guaranteed,

A win tonight gives us a 7 point gap, that for me is too much to overhaul,  there's no way City will go the whole hog without dropping anymore points, no way, they couldn't handle the pressure of a mid week clash against a bottom feeder, how will they handle HAVING to win against a bigger fish ?

96 seems appropriate enough,  so if there exists a god up there he'll see to it that's where we'll finish.

Just win every game until the League is ours and then win some after that as well.

Don't fool yourself. City can start a winning streak any time. They lost their games by freak incidents. We on the other hand took advantage of freak incidents (Pickford, Mahrez penalty, Sturridge goal). That can change any day. And injuries can happen as well. It's still wide open, it's just that now we got a real shot, I'd think our odds are about 55-45...still 14/15 games to play, that's a hell lot of football left. So let's begin today with 3 points against Leicester and go from there.

They raised the bar last season, but they are playing more matches than we are, so expect them to lose some more, 95 points or even less could win it.

Haven't got a clue what points we'll end up with - I'm saying the same as I have been to anyone asking about our chances - I'm quietly confident.

I reckon we'll drop a max of 8 points, I can see us losing a game and having a few draws, but I also see Citeh losing a few games so we should be fine but who knows.

First things first just win today, that is extremely important to pile pressure and misery on Citeh.

There was no 'freak incident' last night vs Newcastle.

95; should do it. 11 wins, 2 draws, 2 defeats, with hopefully one after we've locked it up.

Every year, the contenders who don't win, don't because they drop points to lower teams.

I'm not really one for this forecasting malarkey, so one point more than the 2nd place team would suit me fine.

Lucky i read the thread before posting. Exactly what i was thinking. How apt would it be if we were to win our first Premier League with that number of points? That would be the ultimate for me.

      That would mean everything.

They didn't lose last night from freak incidents.  They lost last night because Newcastle had two shots at goal.

That's what I call 'freak' because usually two shots at goal a not two goals.

We just have to perform the same as in the first part of the season and we will be champions.
