5 points clear of City, next up, a game against an out of form West Ham.

If Trent and Lovren are fit they have to start.

      Fabinho should also start:

      Alisson

      Alexander-Arnold
      Lovren
      Van Dijk
      Robertson

      Wijnaldum
      Henderson (c)
      Fabinho

      Salah
      Firmino
      Mane

      Subs:

      Mignolet
      Matip
      Milner
      Shaqiri
      Lallana
      Keita
      Sturridge

West Ham are likely to be missing Arnautovic, after he left their last game on crutches.

      So Andy Carroll could start..

This will be a tough game but I see us winning 2-0 👍🏼

These have a real injury crisis. I really hope Klopp has away from the cameras had a few words with the lads. We need more from the front boys in particular. Hopefully this game can get them firing.

Shaqiri is slightly out of favour but I think the boss likes him in there. Need the injury update. The usual suspects will be looking for City to get 3 points and put the pressure on us...but I think Arsenal might just do something against City.

All being equal I think we can put up a good show against West Ham.

I'd love it, but their defense is in shambles. Maybe givin Gini some rest for Keita? I'd try everything to get him rolling (again) and he needs games to get it back. He'd be such a gadget down the stretch. Maybe it's too forcing, but Keita is like a Ferrari driven in 2nd gear, you wanna unleash the animal.

Yes I just feel Nabby needs a purple patch..a 20 minutes when something comes off for him. Klopp knows there is a player in there somewhere, just got to coax him out.

Fabianski is a doubt for them, hopefully he doesn’t recover for it, same with Arnautovic and any other injuries they have.

I want to see Fabinho and Hendo in the double 6 with Wijnaldum in a more freer attacking role (similar to how he plays for Netherlands) but playing on the left side in the half space instead of wide left/left inside forward.

I think that can work as can Naby or Hendo in the advanced role.

Yeah, Naby for sure, but not sure about Hendo in the advanced role when we are playing the double 6.

I don't think we have seen Wijnaldum in an offensive role with a double 6 behind him, but he is more than capable as he has shown throughout the years and for the NT. Will be interesting to see if it happens!

Should we be worried about Anderson vs Milner?! I think Anderson is a better player than Zaha...

      Bloody hate Monday games.
Could be a fair bit of pressure on by then.... can’t see Arse doing anything as they’ve literally no centre backs, and would expect Spurs to beat Newcastle  and suddenly they’re 2 and 4 points behind!!!

West Ham seem a weird team. Could be dangerous. Wouldn’t mind seeing Arnautovic miss out.. he was superb at Anfield last season..

He’s played it before Jürgen’s time.

      Perfectly capable.

I prefer Hendo / Fab as the sitters - not sure it’s a double pivot but that’s a whole other debate 🤣

Point is we have plenty of options once we get a couple of defenders back.

What we don’t have is a number 10 - and Jürgen clearly wants one, only the right one - but we’ve not had that all season and coped.

      Is Felipe Anderson playing?

I wonder who Pellegrini will put up against James. That is going to decide our stablility for me.
