The points were dropped in the first half, obviously. But the second half was an improvement on the first half and Keita, for all his critics in the first half was much better in that second 45 too. We could have got the winner and on another day maybe we would have. There was much greater control from our midfield and not as much anxious decision making from our defence, in large part thanks to the calming and controlling influence Fabinho asserted on the game as the minutes ticked by.

Fairly pleased that we kept them out for the entirety of that second half though quite a bit disappointed at the lack of risks our attack men took. It's an old cliche but we seemed to intent, almost that we only believed we count score if we walked it into the net. That Origi chance at the end was evidence of the fact that we could have opened them up but we just didn't. Too conservative but overall, a point probably the right result in the end.

It's a tough one - injuries have conspired to produce this result and that was evident with the awful defensive display of the first half. My worry at this point lies in how soon we can get Lovren back. The Gomez news and then Dejan's news today has been a double whammy one which Jürgen will be hoping for a swift resolution.

If I was a neutral I'd say, on the balance of the season, a 3 point lead is about right for Liverpool. So no complaints really.

But hey ho, in the words of Chris Martin - 'nobody said it was easy'! Now I see your Coldplay...someone raise me a Smiths.

Yep you are right - you spouted utter crap

Did you see what Klopp was doing after the whistle when and you suggest he doesn’t care

This is the sort of sh*te that gets spouted

It’s not thoughtful posts about how we can turn things around back in our favour

      It’s overreactionary sh*te -

Yeah. I personally am not a very positive guy but posts like these are Crap. Jk was fuming. Don't know if people can't see that or they just wrote whatever they feel like, even if it doesn't have anything to do with reality.

      Football fans are emotionally unstable.

In the last 2 games City lost one (against relegation fodder) and won one.
WE HAVE DRAWN 2 and SUDDENLY WE ARE THE WORST TEAM IN THE WORLD.

      ;D
City has looked a bit like future champions the last few weeks. We definitely haven't.

Still 3 points clear & plenty football to be played..

With our present form that's more discouraging than encouraging. The last couple of weeks we look like a runner who's running out of gas.

Not making scape goats but that was one of Firminos worst performances I’ve seen. Didn’t look at the races at all. Origi contributed more, miss or not. Henderson and Wijnaldum badly missed in the 1st half, cutting edge missing in the second.

City will drop more points, just up to us to make sure we drop less from here.

Now I’m off because some of the sh*te being spouted on here is painful. We’re in a title race and still in the Champions League, all for being disappointed/annoyed with that result but some of you need to find a new hobby, if you can’t get into this!

City will drop very few points from here on with KDB back and Aguero on fire again.

The title has never been won or lost in Jan / Feb. Poor performance tonight, yes, but no need for knee-jerk reactions

Nope we've lost it, not because of results but because as a team we are playing crap, Our attack is crap, especially Bobby,
I believe that we were luck to come away with a point West Ham was by far the better team.... Injuries are starting to bit, that and the poor from we have been showing for most of this season

Lallana needs to be moved on

West Ham had as many injuries, why didn't it affect them?

Bobby was poor and although Origi did fumble that chance, he is a presence in there. I'd start him against Bournemouth.

Would Hendo and Wijnaldum have been missed in the first half if Milner played in the middle with Fabinho and we had C**** right back? :D

Anyone think we have capitulated the title needs the give their head a wobble..

If this form doesn’t worry you then wobble your own F***ing head.

Title isn’t gone based on league position, but the way we’re playing that’ll disappear real fast.

      It’s time to be concerned.

We’ve let leads slip twice now. 4 points dropped when we need to hold and stay strong, we look weak.

Football fans, particularly fellow Liverpool fans, certainly have emotional stability issues.

City have lost 3 of their last 8 games.  I certainly don't think they are going to be flawless for the rest of the season, and neither will we.

Yeah, he was having a moan.

His players were crap all game, and he allowed it to continue. No urgency. Pass, pass, pass... no threat on goal. That was all Klopp. Firmino on for most of the game when he was atrocious.

Keita playing the same rubbish - what did Klopp do? Nothing.

No counter attack. If you defend that, I feel for you.

You know he can only make three changes, and not go and play himself.
what do you want him to do?

      Mate, this is not it.

We're playing like sh*t. We're heading towards a game at Old Trafford against UTD and we're 3 points in front of City after series of even that could've seen us put a lot of distance between them and us.

Playing like this, not only are we not going to win anything at UTD, we might get trashed, giving City the 1st place in the worst possible way.

Shocking shocking performance tonight. Everything gone pear shape since the Dubai trip which was a bad bad move. Too many scary cats out there, keita only showed some balls in the last 3 minutes of injury time. he could have cost us the game with his lazy stray passes.  That's how good he is, 3 minutes. Salah all over the place,. Firmnho should have been benched long ago but klopp simply do not have the balls to do that and have him as the starting 11 time and again. Lets get Wilson back, at least he can shoot from distance with accuracy when non of those on the pitch could or have the balls to do that. What are they doing on training, all passes to the sidelines and pinned us to the corner, no forward thrust into their box from the middle. Wtf are the tacticians doing, teams will continue to pack their defence and we keep doing the same thing every game, dally at the wings for long periods and lost possession next without creating anything useful. We need an attacking coach urgently to break down packed defence. This bunch of coaches have no more ideas how to do that.

Can’t remember being this pissed off with a result for a long time. Was over the moon that City lost to Newcastle, thinking we might actually take advantage. This isn’t down to injuries because we’ve put this type of performance in on a regular basis this season, only difference is we didnt sneak a winning goal.

It was just sh*t from start to finish. Bobby stunk the place out, Mo was timid with his shooting - basically passing it at the keeper, Matip...don’t know what the hell he was doing, keeps on trying to run into the opposition half with the ball and losing it.

I'd be tempted too. Divock on a good day is very very good. I like him a lot when he is feeling it. Firmino - strange strange display. Can't ever remember him misplacing as many as he did today. But, we're all human.

Bottled it, again. The goals against tells a different story to the dibolical defending on free kicks, cost us against Leicester and cost us tonight. Dunno what Klopp is changing, whether its injuries or what, but what sort of midfield was that to win a must win game.
