He gave the match away to pay for his gambling debts acquired in Dubai

Then he should tell us to put a quid or two on us losing or something. :f_steam:

Nope we've lost it, not because of results but because as a team we are playing crap, Our attack is crap, especially Bobby,
West Ham had as many injuries, why didn't it affect them?
When West Ham makes a sub' there drop off in form is minimal... When we make a sub' the drop off is epic so thier game play is more or less at the same level while ours fall

Hopefully, this is our "blip"; it was always going to happen at some point. They don't hand you league titles.

City have lost 4 games to our 1 and are 3 points behind us - yet it's all sunshine and roses over at Manchester and dark clouds and gloom in Liverpool.

      Psychology is a weird thing.

      Really?  Do we really?

I was a bit pissed off at full time but actually some of the knee jerking right now is title quality!!  :o

Let me have a go at this game - it looks like a laugh.

Do the players even want to win the league?  :f_whistle:

I think it’s worth questioning why we look so tired and so many players are getting injured in training, perfectly sensible to ask in my opinion.

Getting told that being knocked out of both cups would be advantageous looking sound now isn't it. Aim low and you won't be disappointed

You go ask him then. I don't know. No need to gamble, money flows in many ways.

But you've been there, you should know. The problem was Dubai

The injuries are a recurring theme of klopp's reign

Would be a much happier place if Origi took that chance at the end.

All these wise peolpe that keep saying WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE; well we are until we aren’t.

Let’s be honest folks, at no points this season we have been nearly as good as last season as a team. So much luck and so many ground out results. Defense + Alissin bailed us out in the first half of the season, but I’d say we have lost our fluidity by close to 50% compared to last season. We are still withing a chance to win it this season but if I was a betting man, I’d bet against it. Still can’t believe some people have their heads in the sand regarding Clyne’s departure. It was a monumental F**k up by Klopp, and there is no way around it. I bet he knows it too by now.

Unfortunately I’m afraid this would be our last chance to win the league for a good couple of years, as history has shown that team spirit starts dwindling after coming short so many times in a few seasons.

I bet Fekir would have taken that chance, that or created a couple of key passes ;)

We are crying out for a creative midfielder, in these horrible tight games we lack any invention, it's all sideways and hopeless, aimless crosses.  I just don't think we have the mentality to sustain this push, and squad lacks the depth of City's.  Wouldn't mind us signing Rice and Anderson though, best players on the pitch.

We already have it. It was supposed to be Shaq and/or Naby!

Would have been an open enquiry though.

To score two offside goals and win the game in injury time with one...  :lmao: If only though.

You are right but the fact we press nothing like previous seasons then why the intensity in training, doesn’t make sense.

      We did have Sturridge though..

Just putting that out there. A goal scorer. Sat on the bench. Whilst we were desperate for a goal.

Makes it even more bewildering why we let Clyne go.

Why would you weaken your squad in a title race??

There is when your playing as bad as we have for a good while now. We were pathetic tonight. Go back to playing like it dosent matter. N more injuries to boot.

The players will be hurting after this and they'll want to put it right. Have to keep the faith. They've been good enough for 25 matches and TAA is back.

We'll win the league in the last game of the season. Martin Atkinson to give us a dodgy 94th minute penalty and Keita to score from the spot.

      G'night Reds.
