Origi should be in for Firmino. We need strikers up to speed for the coming games. Bobby hasn't done enough recently and I'd like  Origi in there.Give him a chance.

As I said in the pre-match thread. The Kop needs to improve as our players too!

Big 3 points needed today. Don't want to be going to OT with the prospect of having to win to keep top spot.

Fully expecting ryan fraser to target james milner

I wonder if we will go 433 to give better protection for our full backs?

Divock Origi? Don't be so stupid. Firmino nailed on to score today whilst Origi would still be trying to sort his feet out.

didn't he have a chance against W.Ham?. Sorry he isn't in the same league as an off form Bobby who as we all know does so much for the team

How the hell's he got injured? Is Guardiola sat there sticking pins in effigies of our players or something?

I not only want us to win but to win 4-0 or 5-0 to close the goal difference gap on City. Dream big!

Klopp in pre-game: "We need to show we are in charge today..... We need to be lively, we need to be front-footed. We need to protect well because the counter attacks can be really, really good...

That about covers it boss. Let's go boys!!!

I'm not saying Firmino is crap.I'm saying we need a bit better striking back up and I'd like to see Origi given the chance. Competition for places, not a bad thing. Bobby hasn't been on blob and a rest would not have been a bad idea.

So Firmino is untouchable is he...don't talk stupid.

Even on Origi's best day, Firmino is still the better player, the better link, the better tackler, better at harrying the opposition, better goalscorer, better provider, better at dropping deep, better in the box, better outside the box, and on and on and on ad infinitum.

So although he's not "untouchable", even on his bad days, he's still a better option than Origi.
Which is a shame, because I think Origi has everything he needs to be a top player, he just doesn't show it often enough, which can only be a mentality problem.

Hat trick for Mo today against his favourite opposition. Couple from Bobby and Sadio and its a perfect day.

Midfield..not for me. Doesn't work for me. Probably have enough today but I have doubts.

I like the balance of it, hopefully Gini and Fab holding with Keita getting a free reign

Pretty much the exact same team as the away game in December that we won 4-0.  Milner was right back that day too.

In fact, the only starter different is that Shaqiri played instead of Sadio Mane.

It does seem we are getting a hell of a lot of injuries in training, its a bit of a concern.

Salah due a goal or two. Been a while since he bagged a hatrick. Got a feeling he will be the star today.

Well we should win handy enough today. No wilson or Brooks either for bournemouth. Not be winning the league iv we  can't beat these at home. Very windy here today. Come on the reds 3-1 I'm going for.

A rest would be different to being dropped. But we can't risk Origi today. Probably not for the rest of the season either now our lead has been whittled down to 1 result.
