He's been average to crap most of the season with the odd great game.

I think we can upgrade on Bobby next season.

What a F***ing retard you are. Holy sh*t.

So now we start to get the complaints and the moans and the page long diatribe about how many sugars the tea lady gave Mo.
Seriously I read a post having a pop at Jürgen for making a late Sub.
How can any supporter be anything but absolutely F***ing stoked at that performance and being top of the league.....

Did a quick calculation, if we draw against utd, spuds and chelsea and won the rest of the games and avoid defeat that will give us 95 points, hopefully that will be enough to push us cross the finishing line. One thing for sure, if City wins all the remaining games, which they won't, they will get 98 points and no more 100 points, hahaha.

Or how about disagreeing with him like how a normal person would do?

I have to disagree, I think he has been a consistently strong performer this season and think it would be difficult to upgrade on him.

      Here you go!

If anyone still doesn’t understand why Milner was preferred to Clyne at Right back - watch that game and see how high up the pitch he was and the quality he provided on the ball

Over to City now. See which Chelsea team turn up tomorrow but no doubt Hazard will be looking to get himself a move.

Am I the only one that notice Fab quietly doing the dirty and solid job at the back? Not forgetting to mention he pumped the ball pushed forward on numerous occassion to go on the offensive while Milner doesn't look like he's in his 30s, 100% in every game. If we could have more looping crosses into the box would be fantastic. Better crosses, final passes and shooting accuracy will help us a long long way. Most happy that Salah is playing more centrally.

      Exactly this!

Jürgen himself said after the Leicester game if Clyne would have offered more 'offensively' than his other options. Thats why he was let go during the first week of Jan.

And then you look at the last 2 drawn games and you can have a valid discussion as to how Clyne could have helped. People were more concerned about the defensive aspect or losing a midfield option for RB.

Anyway, I think everyone knows that Milner, Hendo and TAA offer more in attack over Clyne, and it showed today.

3 assists in 4 appearances now? Had a good game. Actually saying that, can’t really fault any of the lads. My only criticism is with Bobby, created a goal nicely and was linking much better with Salah today but for some reason, he seems to be having a bit of a confidence problem in front of goal. He had a great chance vs West Ham and he had a great chance today but both times he just trickled a shot straight to the keeper, it’s like he’s tying to be to precise with his shooting. Other than that though, he was much better than the last couple of games.

It’s amazing how much better things seem when you get a number of players back from injury, get back to winning ways (comfortably at that) and just generally put in a really good performance. I think it’s something everyone really needed - the players and the supporters.

One game closer and back on top as things stand, I really don’t think we can ask for much more than that.

Good reaction to a couple of bad results and terrible performances.

Not forgetting Mane too though, he came in for a fair bit of stick earlier in the season, in the build up to Xmas, I was critical of him myself. But now, 4 goals in 4 games and is just one goal away from equalling his season best of league goals with us, currently sat on 12 with 13 being his highest. Well in lad.

Great team performance, we set the pace from the off.

Although it did not come straight away we were persistent and did not let up our grip on the game. This came initially from the hunger of Salah IMO, he was constantly running at players and looking to create something. Mane got the goal and he deserves a huge amount of credit for that, because he has been arguably are most consistent player over the last 5 games, he keeps scoring when we need him to. Bobby hasn't been at his best lately, but that assist for the 3rd goal was world class, not many other players in the prem have the skill and vision to pull that off.

Our midfield was immense, as i have mentioned already i attribute it mainly to Gini as i feel he brings a calmness to our play that no one else can bring and to me it is no coincidence that his back and we get our first clean sheet in three games. Fabinho seems to enjoy playing alongside him and seems to be more confident in playing forward passes knowing Gini is around. Keita, while he didn't score a worldie or get an assist, his performance did not go unnoticed by me, not at all. I think Keita was imperative to the pressure we put on Bournemouth today, he was pressing high up the pitch, winning the ball back further back also and that pass for Bobby was exactly what we wanted to see from Naby. I really believe this is the midfield three we should be fielding week in week out.

That was the win we needed, now lets hope Chelsea can do us a favor because we have done all we can for now, onwards and upwards, come on you reds!

I can sense that we're beginning on a 2nd wave of an upward trend in performace as in the earlier part of the season. Hopefully we've seen the last of our slump and with quality players coming back, I'm confident that's the case. The lads have shown character today and they were desperate to win and win they did.

Don’t like these long breaks, we don’t seem to perform too well after a long break.
      See Leicester & W Ham.
We stay at home and have some extra training sessions would be better preparation I think. Stay in the zone now we’ve returned to some decent form !
