How can anyone complain after that. A great win and, just as important a really good performance!
Nerves, what nerves!  :scarf: :kop5cf8koxp6: :scarf:

Yes. On behalf of the nervous fans, we didn't score enough. So nervous that we fear we'll have to take into account GD for the title. We cannot afford just a 3-0 score in this match. :lmao:

Nah! 3 points and we're top of the league after 26 games.

Blasphemy swearing after the word holy. I detest this. I hope mods deal with this as it's religiously offensive.

We all support the same team not as if we're debating with supporters of other clubs that we need to be nasty. Even in disagreement on a point, it can be expressed in a decent manner. This place is called forum, so I would think every member's views are to be respected, otherwise, we will have a group of all yes men here.

We stay at home and have some extra training sessions would be better preparation I think.

Yeah, train our offense by playing our senior 11 vs 30 parking the bus academy kids.

Really good game, best attacking performance this year, we completely dominated them and how good too see Keita finally finding his feet and to have Trent back.
Reminded me of how we played last season but with better defensive cover.

10 days off now and positive vibes back in the team and fans

Great to get the win today and I never really was too worried about this one.

Was it as comfortable as the scoreline suggests guys?

Good performance, scoreline didn't flatter us. Big step forward for Keita today, starting to look like he's settling. Fabinho getting better and better, Firmino back on it and Salah looking sharpest he's been in a while, plus Trent got some minutes too. Perfect!

      Good performance.

      I gave Keita motm.
He's had a rough spell, but is starting to turn it around and show what he's about.
He still has plenty of work to do, and he'll face much sterner midfield tests, but he did well today in pretty much every aspect of his game.

Well the traffic on here is certainly lighter compared to the past couple of matches. I wonder why? Everybody must be off on holiday or something.

I just want to say first of all I am SO glad the team went to Dubai recently. Clearly this win is down to the time spent in Dubai. Let's talk about how important Dubai was to this game....

I'm particularly happy with the performances from Gini Wijnaldum and Naby Keita, but everybody did their part. Everybody.

But mainly this is because of Dubai.

Thought Matip was really good today. Also Naby Keita has a really good performance. Maybe the kind that he can build on to kick on as the player we all expect him to be.

Most of the lads played well. Fabinho next season may be unplayable. He’s like a bigger more defensive version of Bobby, just glides around so easy and almost always knows the right play to make. Once he had a season behind him look out. All in all a good performance and one befitting the top team in the league.

I didn't think we'd have too much trouble here either FL.

Weird as hell this seasons with the amount of moaning.

Top of the league in Feb having only dropped 11 points all season and still some are losing their sh*t.

That was our sharpest looking attacking performance for a long long time no surprise with salah wide rather than  through the middle.  He is involved a lot more and can influence the game more.

Matip another good game with some important blocks and interceptions.

And to the poster slagging off Firmino you need to change sport mate if you can't watch a player and see how important he is to the team and what he brings. He is top top class simple as that.

I would go so far as to say that was our sharpest looking attacking performance all season. We've played well in containment, in defence, and we've done what we needed to do in attack but we have never quite reached last season's heights with the fluent attack until today.

3rd best point total ever at this point in the season I believe. Of the 11 best teams at this point in the season historically, all went on to win the league. Enjoy it people.

he was superb today and listen to Jürgen if you don't believe me in how important Bobby is to this team

Fair enough mate if Bobby looks like getting back to his form from last season then I'll be delighted.

Obviously he's a brilliant player when in form I was just getting so frustrated with him this season. I actually think he's a better player then he even realises but he needs to be more consistent.

2nd best top flight season in our history. 1987/88 we had 66 points from 26 W20D6.

More points though than the other 17 title winning years and we've now got more points in 26 games than we ended with in 6 of the last 9 seasons!! 😎

Great feeling this. So the mini slump, or "crisis" is over, and the lead is restored. So much so for winning the league against Everton. ;D What a desperate week the last one was for city fans and the media.

With Fabinho likely to move to CB I wonder how our midfield will shape up against Bayern. The solid, industrious (if unspectacular) trio of Hendo, Milner and Gini perhaps?

No Lovren? I hope he will be fit!!

I was thinking about that midfield and leaning towards it tbh. They seem to be vulnerable during transition and under pressure, and they certainly won't be parking the bus, but they are very deadly on the counter especially on their left side with Coman and Alaba.
