Draw, not the best, But it could always be worse. We definitely need to step up our game a lot more for this United game coming up.

Trent loves a aimless punt upfield a bit too occasionally.

      Load of sh*t, that.

Brainless from anyone who entered the Bayern half. Zero thought or nous and so many forced passes that made it so easy for Bayern.

Mo did nothing but try work his own space, Mané’s brain wasn’t working and our only threat to create something finished on the bench.

      So frustrating.

Don't ever take this lot away on a warm weather break. Make them stay at home and practice passing.

Displeased we didn't score given our 1st half chances, but more pleased that we didn't concede. Away goals are EVERYTHING in this tournament.

Fair result, both team locked themselves out.. could have been different if Mane took his chances..

He took his chances, he just goofed major.

Not the worst result but considering our away form in the group stages you'd have to have us as second favourites now.

Although Bayern have looked dodgy at the back when they open up and attack in the Bundesliga so some hope for us still.

      Disappointing!

We looked rusty and soft compared to what we fired against City or Roma. This team needs to show more heart. I think we losing the plot (and the season).

We badly need better attacking options than f**king Origi.

Did okay. No idea why mane avoided him there. I saw a surprising lack of belief in that performance.

At times Mane Wijnaldum and Keita made poor decisions not going for the real killer pass.

Also we have a lot of  players who shoot who already know they're not scoring.

      What a boring second half!!

Hendo MOTM for his first half performance, but fair play to Fabinho, was strong throughout.

Who'd have thought it'd be a 0-0 scoreline? ;D! With the away goal rule, I think we can take them in the 2nd leg!

Very disappointing second half. Can't wait till ox is back someone when the front three are not firing can score from distance. Still in the tie as bayern got no away goal either. Need to improve for sunday

Henderson's first half performance was so not ordinary that he couldn't even keep it up in the second. To be fair, the game as a whole was a lot worse, enjoyed watching the first half much better.

I'm voting for one of Joel Matip or Fabinho as man of the match, just because I wasn't really confident about them but both stepped up and played incredibly well, despite the fact both full backs had some of their worst performances of the season.

Not a great result but not a terrible one either. We're more than capable of winning it in Germany.

Impressed with our makeshift defence. Forward line don;t know what to do with the final ball to break down defence. No coordination between the front three, each playing for themselves. Tried to dribble ball into goal. Hardly any quality shots taken from outside the box.

Just didn't happen for us, too many stray passes, poor set pieces etc. Loose performance in general.
Bayern did defend well though, pretty solid, Neuer comfortable with ball at feet and never looked under much pressure tbh.
If have to pick someone out, thought TAA was really good, specially coming back from a layoff. Fab was good too at CB. And Hendo in the middle.
Positive note - we kept a clean sheet. Get a goal over there, in driving seat.
      Roll on the next one...

Bar Salah's goal scoring, his alround game is pretty poor. I'm confident we won't concede with Van Dijk at the back in Munchen. I think the chances of going through are  Bayern 51-49 Liverpool. It feels so good to compete against the big boys after years in Europa League.

The positives - we didn't concede - the negatives...got a day or two to spare because they'll all be on here over the next few days.

They didn't have to be that great to keep us out TBH.

Henderson was excellent really did well but MOTM Fab never put a foot wrong never looked troubled and made Matip look like the one who has not played in that position much. Mo looked so out of sorts Sadio really strong if you could mix Mo and Sadio we would have the best player in the world. The clean sheet has been so important tonight and we will need a vintage Liverpool European away performance to progress
