I don't go along with this.  If it was four games to go and maybe our last three were at home then maybe that logic would apply but there's too much football left to play.  We've got the derby to come, Spurs and Chelsea in the not too distant future.  This weekend is nowhere close to being some sort of title decider.

Gotta disagree. Winning at Old Trafford could be the catalyst we need to go on a run of games.

It could also affect City. They will see this as a game we should be dropping points in.

If we lose, who knows what the confidence will be like for a team that will then be second without a game in hand when only two weeks ago we could have been seven clear.

The game is massive as it always has been but will not decide the title

Out of interest - is  that based mostly on 90 mins versus Bournemouth or your preference?

      Ok.

      Don’t agree but fair enough.

I wanna see Fab, Gini & Hendo Sunday with Naby and Shaq as game changers off bench.

Has a better balance for me - Naby’s defensive lines are still lousy.

It's all about the right formula at the right time for me. We don't have to agree, that's sound. Just putting it out there.

Naby is starting to look up to speed again, 1% better as each game comes around. Fabinho & Gini are spine players IMHO.

If we lose and spurs win, they are only 2 F***ing points behind.

This is a crazy F***ing league race.

I honestly think I’ll go off sick with stress if Liverpool lose to United, it’ll be a nightmare watching those cu*ts celebrate with their city rivals, embarrassing. They’re using the tag #acityunited - that’s how embarrassing it is.

It’ll be a huge psychological blow losing to these cu*ts.

Agreed - I enjoy different views especially on selection as long as there’s a rationale.

Naby is gonna be a monster but he does scare me a bit defensively (at the mo) the way he ambles and doesn’t seem sure where he should be in transition yet.

Providing he has the lighthouse behind him (Fab). Defensive duties can be covered in some situations, not all. His risk-taking and footwork are his most valuable attributes going forward. We need that level of creativity on a more consistent basis.

He's getting there. The rest will come. 😎

Hate this game. Take a draw all day and given that this is technically our game in hand it would insure we keep our noses ahead and have destiny in our own hands.

Its bad enough having to play them but sharing a forum with them is another thing.
They are a club who's players decided to down tools with no respect for the club or the fans because they didn't like the Manager and then decided they like this manager so they would start again. So this weekend it will be a pleasure to remind them they are who they are and let a team and club show them what class really means.

Come on lad, even more reason why we will win, we know what we’re up against..

Pep looks riddled with stress, they’ll crack, Manc’s will have their bubble burst.. just the type of game we need for the run in..

I'm with this. With VvD start and if Fabinho and Hendo perform close to their last game performance (defensively) we are safe enough to unleash Naby. Without this kind of attacking support I can see our front three suffer from lack of services from midfield again.

Well if you think Wijnaldum is left out or should be then you clearly haven't watched Liverpool this season. Assuming you are naming Fabinho and Hendo both in midfield.

Gini should be the first of the 3 for me.

Utterly crucial to the organised chaos style we love.

No argue Gini is important but isn't him just suffered from some illness recently (I know he's superb against Bournemouth) but from last game I personally think Hendo and Fabinho deserve a run of games.

I recently very criticism to Hendo but he seem just improve greatly. This plus a chance to let Gini has a full recovery I think it's no big problem there.
