Lot using " we are top" to fend off any criticism doesn't really wash. Our aim has to be to win the league and we have to improve to have any hope.

Not sure I follow the logic here.

Top of the league, but we have to improve to win it?

All teams have blips, and a sensible person looks at form over the season rather than a couple of games.

      City have lost Fernandinho.
Remember what happened last time he was out?
They had a blip. A very large blip.

I can't remember when we last played well to be honest, and were top of the league - so surely it has to change at some point.

Come on lads this is getting serious now.

Bournemouth was good.Waaaaay back when!! Feb 9th. Didn't watch the Bayern Munich game so can't comment if we played well.

After the breaks, and the lack of matches, surely they should all be well rested?

It's hardly been loads of matches over the last few weeks, no reason for any player to be less than fresh, injury and illness excluded of course.

Form is a big concern, just look a bit flat at the moment

Stop, read and understand it will hold you in good stead in life!

Klopp wanted Fekir an attacking midfielder, he will get somebody similar in the summer to unlock packed defences.

      Not too difficult is it?

Maybe but he ain't playing against Watford tomorrow,so.

I thought our tempo was great against Bayern, and against the mancs until they started dropping like flies.

      It'll click again.
It's just the way of these things in my experience.

Think they will have a go with form they are in which may actually suit us but with a few bumps in the road think we will have too much

Only a minority pulling the team apart , it’s like they expected it to be all plain sailing very rarely works like that , it’ll all be rosy come May .

Whatever the reason 2 games without scoring and 3 halves of football without looking like scoring will start to play on players minds unless we get back to scoring ways sooner than later tomorrow.

Bobby should be back for the derby against Everton.

Let's hope Salah and Mane are switched on.

      Hope he starts Keita

Yeah, not a bad call. Mane probably was a bit more effective on the right (although overall he's been pretty effective on the left as well).

Another option would be Salah on the left, Mane right and Origi up front. Watford will be set up to defend narrow, so it would be interesting to see our wingers wanting to go outside of opposition FBs more than inside.

Switching those 2 wide men around is something we could do more in general, in games where we are struggling to break teams down. It's not gonna be our first choice option with Bobby up front, cos he wants to play more in front of the defence rather than attacking crosses, but as something to try to shake things up when we are struggling it still could be worth it even then. With Origi up front, though, it could actually be an option from the start of games.

Exactly. Our attacking  tactics are too predictable at the moment and opposition teams can read us like a book. Too rigid no good, we need to switch the front 3 around and mix things up a bit and opposition defenders will struggle to cope.  We need a plan A, B, C and D ... not stick to plan A game after game. We have quality players to do that. And an occassional burst from midfield ala Gini won't harm. He has done that for us and Holland before. In the last few gams we don't have enough players inside the box and the probability of scoring will reduce.

I'd take the three points with a scrappy goal but I think we'd all be much happier if it came with us creating plenty of opportunities, and taking them.

Let's face it after 27 games us and City are effectively neck and neck.  It's very difficult to think that from here Spurs are going to collect 20% more points than both of the top two.

Players need to approach this period now as if we are starting an 11 match season which shouldn't be that difficult because with the two training camps recently it's been a little bit like pre-season!
