Anfield wanting to stay on top

Players arriving to Anfield this afternoon
      https://twitter.com/JamesPearceEcho/status/1100829803932987392

Starting XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Milner, Mane, Salah, Origi.

Subs: Mignolet, Keita, Henderson, Sturridge, Lallana, Shaqiri, Camacho.

Divock Origi starts as Liverpool make two changes for this evening’s clash with Watford at Anfield.

Elsewhere, Trent Alexander-Arnold comes in for Jordan Henderson in the only other alteration made by Jürgen Klopp to the team deployed at Manchester United on Sunday.

      Now that was a surprise.

We still have more than enough to deal with them going forward, be interesting to see how Origi gets on out there and if Mane/Salah step up with Bobby out.

Good to see TAA back, come on you redmen!

Big night for Divock Origi who is handed only his second PL start of the season as he gets the nod ahead of Sturridge and Shaqiri. Milner needs to up his game after this Sunday, hopefully he plays better in the midfield.

Would have liked to see Lallana or Shaqiri in that midfield if Keita wasn't fit enough to go.

Still should be enough there though.

      Milner and Origi ffs Jürgen.

If Milner can channel his start of the season form...

As for Origi, I would have preferred him over Sturridge tbh, and with how Shaq has been playing....

Keita could be explained with his illness, right?

Origi before Sturridge and Shaq is a bit of a stunner.  :o

      Milner and Origi ffs Jürgen.

He saw something during training that we obviously did not see. Come on Reds. We believe in you, now just play with confidence. Anfield needs to be patient and do its part.

Not the biggest fan of Shaq starting but with Bobby out you would have thought he would get a start ahead of Origi.

As for the midfield feels a bit light on creativity.

      Hopefully I’m proved wrong.

Salah must take out United frustration on Watford and start a good roll until the end.

Yeah, that or have him instead of Milner and shift to 4231. What I am surprised about is leaving a fit Hendo out for Milner.

Defo with you on that midfield. Bit of a sh*t house midfield for a home game against Watford.
