It's been an absolute pleasure following the Reds tonight. 10/10

So many brilliant performances (TAA, Mané, Fabinho, van Dijk, Alisson, to name a few) but it's not every day that a right back gets three assists in the same game. For that reason alone I'm voting TAA for MOTM.

I think the level of our performance in this game is in a way as important as the 3 points. We were showing a downwards tendency and a scrappy win would've done nothing other than exacerbating that sensation. I feel like the players must've been feeling that way too, to a certain degree.

Today's win means 3 very important points, but is also a spirit lifter/ ass unclencher.

Great win. We need more where that came from and the next game is big in its own right. Everton away and we can't give them the satisfaction of helping City go top.

Van Dijk should be looking at 6-8 a season and hopefully these goals will see him believe he can score more from set plays. He has the talent to not only win the headers but direct them too. It may well be vital in the run in to score set plays.
