It would put the fear of God up City having clawed back 8 goals in one week though

We always needed a win, regardless of the City result.

Let's get them 3 points by any means necessary!

Well said. It's not timely that City already played and won today ahead of our match, but we have to hold our own anyhow so it's really unrelated.

The more we win after they’ve already played will just make it better for us in handling the pressure.

Not that we need an incentive to beat Everton but the fact that City won is enough reason for OUR REDS to really make Everton sing the Blues.

All of a sudden these 'a point gained' things dont seem so good do they.

Should have been 7 points and not 5. Then 5 down to 3, 3 down to 1 and now 2 points behind.

We have been reeled in and even with injuries city are now starting to turn it up.

Something tells me they will be slightly more up for it than they were against city a few weeks back.

City only have 2 tough games left really against spurs and utd and they are at the back end of april when we may already be 6 points or more behind. Im probably being negative but i feel we have missed our chance.

We need 10 wins if we want this league ... starting tomorrow. I dont see city dropping anything.

Mate, light up your attitude please! We will win this afternoon to be one point above City which is enough! 10 Finals left! Come on Reds, we will win this game.

F**k you Blues! I'm a not a local, I do not feel this derby as locals do due to lack of banter in Malta because no one supports them however I want this for the League and all the locals pulling the legs of their mates tomorrow and all week.

Can see both people's views that
A - We just have to take each game at a time and it's just another game and
B The opposition will either toss it off or do their best to derail us

Never has B been so apparent this weekend . Bournemouth displaying an almost non existent approach to getting a result and the bitters who would do anything to beat us and will be trying their bollocks off. We just have to play what is in front of us and say we are better than every single team in this league hence our position and we will win , play the occasion and emotions and it could be tricky

I wouldn’t mind us playing Mané in that number 9 role again if Bobby isn’t fit, he poses a completely different threat so it gives Everton problems as they won’t know what they will be up against here.

Their main threats are Digne and Sigurrdson. I would like to think that their left back will be too busy containing Salah and Trent all game to forge any attacks. Sigurdsson is only a threat when he has space to run into in front of him which he shouldn’t have in Fabhino’s back pocket. Gomes was probably their best player in the first fixture against them this season, he had far too much time on the ball which we shouldn’t allow again.

I’m going for a convincing win here, I can’t see them doing much damage against us and their defence is probably on par with Watford.

1 points enough but a bit closer in the GD would help the cause   3 or 4  will do nicely .
