Did I say people couldn't have opinions ? True supporters won't slag players off week in and week out though would they and back them up

Hard to slag Lallana off week in week out when he hardly ever plays or even gets off the bench.

Lallana is definitely a weird one. Really wasn't expecting that.

We all know what you were getting at. I don’t get why you’ve become a bit antagonistic all of a sudden.

Lallana looked quite sharp when he came on last weekend. Would like to see him get beyond Firmino and offer a few runs into the box today

Or last seasons tried and tested Hendo, Gini and Milner - honestly wouldn’t surprise me. If there’s one thing Klopp has been getting wrong lately, it’s his line ups and subs.

Hopefully not that trio for a European away game! I believe the last victory they had was vs Porto away. Anyway, this discussion is for another thread :D

      crap lineup...Lallana wtf really.

It’s far from a crap lineup, it’s pretty much our strongest bar the selection of Lallana

I'm not being antagonistic just feel he has been singled out a bit unfairly a bit like Henderson does that's all

Bit odd that he his ahead of Keita though.

      Yep.

LFC Twitter reacting as expected to the line up. Tweets of how Keita should hand in transfer request etc. ;D

Weird how grown men react to a manager picking 11 players for a game.

Lallana must be performing in training and Keita can't be. Either that or it is an attitude issue with Keita. I say that because I can't think of any other reason why Lallana is in before him.

Nice to see the positive vibes going out to the team. If people think back or think at all Jürgen has always rated Lallana extremely highly and if he is fit and showing form in training its no surprise to see him play. Equally people crying out for more creativity from midfield and when Jürgen picks a more attacking midfielder he gets slagged off.
We also have a massive game against Bayern  in midweek so I wouldn't expect this team to start against them.

If Lallana is getting picked ahead of Keita then something somewhere along the line hasn't gone to plan. I must admit I thought the rush to praise Keita of late was a tad early and hopeful. He was better but still not the player we thought we were getting.

That said Lallanas inclusion doesn't inspire too much confidence. We pretty much know by now what performance we will get from him.

He does however represent a midfield that will show a little bit more attacking and the front 3 could really do with that of late I feel.

I'm confident we'll win ( if we don't Lallana will 100% be the scapegoat) but really Lallana??? What has he done the last 2 seasons? 0 assists and 0 goals.

Can't understand all the disgruntlement over Lallana,  he's a Liverpool player and deserves all the support he can get, he may not be everyone's cup of tea but right now today, this week he is Jürgen's cup of tea,  and that's all it should matter,
So get off the lads back and instead of slating the fella try getting behind him and the other 10 lads and give him your support,  if he like any other has a sh*te game by all means rip into him,

You never know he could give us that bit of creation we've been lacking recently  ??

Did we ever have a 10 point lead over city? They mentioned it again on the radio and it annoys the f**k out of me. I’m certain we did not (with us and city having played the same number of games)

Is he actually getting slagged off? I just see posters wary because he has hardly played, and when played, he hasn't offered that attacking threat that either, Keita or Shaqiri has.

I think it's time to label Keita a bust. Jürgen can talk about adaptation, talk about Ox, Fab or Robbo, but if you pay 60 Mio. € for a guy that still hasn't made the first team after almost a season it's time to write him off as starting material.

People seem to forget that Lallana is a really good footballer and has always been one of Klopp favorites. When he’s fit no one presses more than him maybe bar Firmino. If we see the “old” Lallana, people will call Klopp a genius to stick him back in. He offers technical skill that some of the others don’t. We have a super slick midfield with this lineup, should hardly ever give the ball away and can pick out a pass. I’m excited to see what this lineup does. Just gives us more options as the season winds down if we can get everyone fit and firing.

No, not out right anyway. They had a game in hand on us at the time by playing later that day or something like that. We had a chance to go 10 clear but we didn’t take it because they beat us and have reeled us in ever since. But no, best we’ve had is 7 clear. Makes it sound worse for us though if people say 10 points.

What short memories some of our fans have.

When Lallana was fit and in form 2 seasons ago he was one of our best players consistently.

He's had 2 seasons of injury problems that have curtailed his career here hugely. But if he's back in form as Klopp has suggested I'm sure he'll do well today.
