It is games like this which makes being in the Champions League so much fun to watch, I would think if Trent is somewhat fit to play Klopp will play him and play Milner vs Fulham as knowing the manager he will have Fabinho/Gini/Hendo in the middle so the full back will be important to provide width and attacking edge.

I think key to getting through is how clinical trio up top can be, there will be chances and if we take them after keeping a clean sheet in the home leg we can go through but this will be a difficult task as our away form in Europe this season is awful.

We play Fulham this weekend, and I think that's where Jürgen will probably choose to start Naby. Guess it'll be Gini-Fab-Hendo midfield tomo, so definitely a tad concerned about vertical penetration and service to the front 3.

I really hope he starts with Shaq and plays a 4-2-3-1 with a Gini-Fab pivot. If TAA isnt fit to start, we could probably see that line up with Hendo as RB.

      2-2!

??? Is Munich a particularly dangerous place, can't say I've ever noticed that, but then I've never been to see the football there, only to drink vast amounts of beer on an annual basis ;-)

Deffo not dangerous but of course it’s a major European city so need to be careful.

the last thing I would want to d today is fly anywhere from Liverpool the weather is F***ing biblical. It will be a tailwind so they will be there pretty quick.
We will score possibly 2 or more and any score draw will do but a win would be great and build on the positive result at the weekend.

In all honesty, i don;t watch bayern's games but I am impressed with their professionalism on the field in the last game against them. A few hard tackles here and there but no dirty tactics deployed or cheats for cheap penalties or free kicks. Hope both teams keep up with the professionalism and may the better team wins and I certainly hope Liverpool is the better team on the day.

We don't really need to go for it so I doubt we'd see a midfield the likes of Fabinho, Lallana and Keita (which I think could be very interesting), so likely it will be more like Gini, Fab and Hendo. Hoping Trent is fit but if he's not, then it's probably going to be Milner (although Hendo did ok there the other day). Either way, I think we have too much for them. I've gone for us winning it 2-1 and I think that flatters them.

Huh? You’ve just described the total opposite of the first leg. Javi Martinez was making a meal of everything every 5 minutes, was constantly trying to buy cheap free kicks and have a moan to the ref about our players.
Then their manager came out after the game and admitted his players were play acting of having cramp and things just to waste time. Why would a team waste time when ultimately not getting an away goal can cost you and put you at a disadvantage.

Was hardly the most professional of performances, especially that lanky tool Martinez.

I think having a balanced midfield is not only more productive, but defensively just as strong as you gain control of the middle better.

Would love to see either, 2 DM & 1 AM or 1 DM , 1 Boxer & AM.

After the first leg, my initial thought was that 0-0 at home is a poor result, but as the game draws closer I'm starting to feel better about it... if we get the first goal, pressure is massively on them and we are counter-attack kings  :f_whistle:.

0-0 was probably the 2nd best result we could have gotten in the first leg, and agree a goal for us would be huge and really force them to open up.
