these young fellas Billy just don't have the backbone for the fight. We need to do our job which is to get behind Jürgen and the boys 100% and stop the negativity which the other clubs supporters will try to hit us with. YNWA

      Hang on a minute.

Last week we were apparently terrible and bottling it.

Our Midfield didnt score enough goals.

Salah was having a terrible season.

We should have Beaten Man U and Everton away and dropped 4 points.

What the heck is going on here?

      It's the knee jerk principle.
Every non win: The ship has sunk.
Every game won: The sky's the limit.

It was the same in the run in 2 years ago. It got farcical with 2 games to go, when Arsenal closed the gap to 1 point, even though we had a game in hand. The gloves were off. Players crap, coach crap, board crap, owners crap, the lot. We won the game in hand 4-0 the next day, finished 4th, and 12 months later we were off to Kiev.

The ideal is to not get carried away by wins, and not lose the plot when we don't. There are too many games left to play, to give a definitive answer to the question,  one way or the other. Atm, we should just enjoy competing for both, and let it play itself out.

It depends upon whether you really want a debate or whether you want fan service? If you want an honest answer then on the evidence of what we've seen since the beginning of Jan, then no, we simply haven't played well enough on the road, Bayern aside. We need to put together an extraordinary run, winning all our remaining games and hoping City drop points in the league along the way. Again, is that possible? Yes, but there is a lack of evidence to suggest it's likely. We'll probably know by six o'clock on the 14th of next month whether we're playing well enough to stand a chance.

If you're after a fan's answer only then, sure, of course we are. Either way, with any luck, we'll know by June 1st.

It's called emotions mate, things get said directly after a bad result. People get frustrated with some of the performance's I do, but couple of good results and the train is back on the tracks thundering down the line, just enjoy it and see where we end up. Utopia Central is where I'm getting off.

      Me no think so.

I'd would always say Yes with my heart but my head says no.

Just haven't the squad depth covering all positions to do it ..... but would love for it to happen of course.

      Why not win both?
But coming in second in both will be so devastating, come to think of it.

We have had so many near misses in cup finals and leagues that I don't want to forecast anything but if there any justice I'd be overjoyed with either pl or CL trophy. Both would be off the scale. It be difficult to win even one but its guna be one hell of a ride if my heart can take it.

If we did, would these boards become almost totally quiet (as with winning post-match threads vs. matches where we draw or lose) or would everyone who has been slagging the team  all season come in and say they were with the boys all the way?

Jesus,i hope the boards will be quiet coz everyone will be out pound beers, champers and whatever else takes their fancy f***in know i will!! Might even go down to the official lfcboston bar and hug it out with those gobshites! :ernaehrung004:

Our away record in the league has been impressive. Our away record in the CL hasn't been great until the Bayern game.

Luckily we are facing Chelsea, Tottenham and Wolves at home.

The other 5 games in the league are against teams in the bottom 7 (3 of them currently in the relegation zone).

City have the tougher run-in and a huge pile up in April which is where points will be dropped I'm sure.

      Let's do this!

We have had our fair share as well, it all balances out over a season.
The Spuds put up a better show than I thought they would today, and could of easily got a draw out of the game.
Lets hope City drop points somewhere.
