Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good. I think that sums up today. We got 3 points and that’s all that matters but for discussions sake, there’s a lot I would have done differently....but I sure don’t have Klopp’s resume so really doesn’t matter what I think I suppose. One huge hurdle out of the way.

Lucky win but thank goodness for it.

I so hate the midfield of Hendo, Gini and Milner, far to passive and Jürgen took to long to make changes but thank goodness he did.

Anyway a massive 3 points and I now fancy us to win the league.

I love how everyone that criticise the team gets labelled as a miserable c**t. Everyone on this forum is f**king happy we won and wants to win the league badly.  The result doesn’t change the fact the 2nd half was terrible and Klopp made multiple mistakes. Pointing things out the team needs to improve on doesn’t make you a c**t

But you never have a positive word to say about anything pal. Try posting with some balance. We've lost one game all season in The league and that was away against the champions. If you can't find something positive to say in amongst all that then that's too bad.

I hope Jürgen changes up the midfield in the coming matches. He seems to have a bit of a blind spot when it comes to those three lads in The middle. Anyone can see the balance is all, it's better with Fab in there but for me I'd like to see Keita worked back into the rotation or even Lallana. We didn't keep the ball so well today once they went to a back four and it nearly cost us. The next two fixtures are very tricky but if we can win them we'll be in fantastic shape for the last 4.

I went out for drive earlier and must have let out 4 or 5 screams of 'come onnnnnnnnn!!!!!' at the top of my voice In The car and I keep breaking into laughter! Was even better than the late winner in the Derby!

Some said we were lucky to win a last minute goal but we made our own luck. I would look at it in a different way, this team has all the hallmark of a champion as in our 70s and 80s teams; attack attack attack to the last second and never give up. Something good will turn up and it did. Lets concentrate 100% in our remaining games and wait for citeh to slip up again. Citeh has plenty of banana skins in front of them. City fans must be heart broken today. Well done lads, well done.

The hired Gun is being backed up by the old soak. I wouldn't put it past the two of them to conspire against us but the money men behind the club will frighten them enough to make them at least try and get a point off City. I still think the United squad is not top 4 and Chelsea have picked up of late.

The Mancheater fans will stoop low enough but they don't pull the purse strings.

I just cant see a top 4 club, in this era, intentionally losing a match to screw a rival and in doing so, missing out on a CL spot. Thats easily an additional $100 Million in advertising, TV rights and purse. Easily. Also considering 3-6 are separated by 1 pt. If they do lose on purpose. I cant wait to see them miss out on CL.Morons.

Well, that second half was poor and Spurs really should have taken the lead before we got the winner. Then again, we probably should have scored a couple at least in the first half when we were well on top.

Looks like the ball was moving when Kane took the free kick for their goal, but we were caught napping from a quick free kick and not for the first time this season.

Incredible cross from Robbo for Firmino's goal by the way.

Agree. I turned it on from the 55th minute or so and all Klopp has done since I started watching was stand there idle as we got dominated. Then, when we finally concede, he wakes up and makes changes.

      too little too late?

also starting with a midfield that never worked in big games and playing origi instead of using Keita and Shaq.

      I blame the midfield selection.

We were 7 points ahead before the City game. Had the chance to go 8 points ahead before Leicester and we will be 3 points behind when City plays their game in hand. This happened within 2.5 months. If this isn’t a bottle job then I don’t know what is

Klopp will probably bring in Lovren, such is the type of horror he’s had today

What has Warnock just said.." I'll play the 23's against City"...so Warnock has said he'll play a weakened team. We know he hates us but he should not get away with throwing a match.

Clubs have a 25 man squad to pick from and a bit of discretion on u21's. I think the rules are to lax. It gives managers an out if they want to target certain games. It short changes the fans and damages the integrity of the league.

Now that the dust has settled. The midfield trio that everyone hates was set up to be defensive. It was working well until the second half when Spurs decided to go for it and got their goal, then it proved to be ineffective in an attacking sense
Klopp saw this and made the necessary changes and we won! Job done!

That makes no sense! He's fighting relegation, why would he play a weakened team? No chance!

So often, entire seasons end up being defined by a handful of "quirky moments" -- such as a Gerrard slip, Balotelli assist in injury time, or a "sloppy" Mo Salah forced OG.  Perhaps City F**k up and drop points against Cardiff.  If we take the lead now and hold on through to the end, we will all look back on that moment as the one which won us the title.  😎

He said that on MOTD 2. He was pissed off with the decisions going against him and blurted out "I'll play the 23's against City"...might've been frustration or saving players for games he has a chance of points.

Listened to the game on 5 live, so waited for motd to see the highlites.
Had a motm in mind prior but wanted visual confirmation.
Robbo was top drawer, Bob was very good first half, as we’re mosy of our players. Second half we lost it in the middle of the park, and the changes made were s bit strange. Put us under lots of pressure to he counter.
Thank god we have VVD !
Usual solid self, but that incident
1 v 2. Not sure there’s another centre back who could have played that like he did. Imense player, and my motm.
