Contrary to many I thought Lovren was a weak link tonight with the turning circle of a ocean liner. Give him a straight line he is fine but turning and he was poor. Luckily that Marrega fella was sh*te.

He was actually quite alright although not eye catching but didnt really put a foot wrong. Virg had a couple of scruffy moments too but he is Virg. Probably my MOTM.

Firmino just edged it in my opinion, I'm surprised everyone voted for Henderson. I thought Firmino 9, Henderson 8.5 and a few others 7-8.

      I went Hendo.

You thought Firmino just edged it so I'm not sure why you'd be surprised that so many thought differently.

he did very well don't let the usual agenda driven comments detract from his performance it was solid. No doubt the usual complaints about Hendo being MOTM will soon be along.

I have him blocked so only get his inspirational comments when somebody quotes him. he is still clearly a muppet

I gave it to Firmino too, he was F***ing amazing, world class.

Henderson excellent too, but Firmino edged it for me

Interesting stat when Hendo last played higher 13/14 season involved in 21 goals. Was that Klopps thinking all the time but never managed to get that Midfield out with Keitas form and injuries ?

Klopp said last week that Henderson had asked him about playing further up.
With the form of Fabinho as the 6 it's as good a shout as any to move Henderson up.

We'd have won the title as well if he hadn't got suspended.

      Massive blow at the time.

Trent did OK. We know he has a great right foot but he has to be a bit more aggressive in the tackle and cover better. At one point he switched with Milly. Couldn't tell why and they switched back after a few minutes. So much pressure to play right back and wing back. Come so far so quickly it's no surprise that one or two aspects of his game needs attention.

Taken off at Southampton it was important that he played the full 90 tonight.

Yes remember the panic it caused when he got suspended was held in such high regard which reading some comments about him this season would think a different person

A wise choice when Keita looked out of favour and Fabinho was playing so well.  Long term though I think he's going to be fighting it out with Fabinho for rotation purposes.

Had a few good appearances has our Jordan.  Suspect it's down to the improved competition with Fabinho, improving Keita and the return of Oxlade-Chamberlain to training.  It's the way it should be.  Keep them all on their toes.

Henderson should have been a number 8 and never number 6. We'd be ahead of City now. He's been a square peg.

Thought Lovren rescued VVD a couple for times after so uncharacteristic mistakes... But I guess that is what a good partnership does; Rescue one another

You're not the only one.  Matip has improved a lot this season, and doesn't seem to have suffered as much with injuries as last year.

Fair play to Lovren and VVD tonight.  First start together since we lost against Man City.  Good to get the clean sheet.  Matip back for the weekend though.
