just realised Danny was on the pitch.. dear God how different he is to the lad along with Suarez tormented the entire league

Age catches us all up sadly.  Think both sides had accepted the 2-0 in those last 10 minutes.

Think we come off the gas second half just to be on the safe side. Go all out for the third and we could've been hit on the break, good game management.

Obviously the tie is not over but 2-0 is a very clear advantage.

Scoring AND creating now. Keita with 2 goals, Hendo with 1 and the key pass to Arnold for today's 2nd. That's pretty good output in the last 2 games.

Thought hendo and virgil were immense tonight. City have put kane out for the season and in return against spurs before there league match I'm sure they try and put Erik'son and Ali out as they tried to do tonight. Dirty dirty team.

Would have been nice to have scored another in the second half but that’s a great score for first leg of a CL quarter final.

Bobby was class today and easily MOTM
Naby was a pressing machine and should really have got his shot off at the end of that run towards the end.
Good to see Henderson in his 13/14 position putting in a more than decent performance.
Fab got through a ton of work breaking up play because of the sloppiness up front.

Great times to be a Red.

we have outscored them 7-0 in the 2.5 games we've played them in the CL. It's a very clear advantage and as fans we should be supremely confident of going through.

      No it isn't. 3-0 would've been better, just like 4-0, 5-0 etc.

Salah has been poor this half.
Think you are right. I don't know whether it is the fact that he has had a little mini drought and Keita failing to score for weeks, then last week they both scored, and tonight Keita getting another one, made Salah try to force the issue and get a goal himself which made him play so poorly... He needs to relay more. The goals will come

Hendo getting MOTM award again what the F**k is going on.
Looks a very balanced midfield now .Jürgen has got these lads at the peak of their form at exactly the right time . Slowly beginning to think this could be such a historic season

I really don't get some of the moaning on here, we score 2, keep a clean sheet without extending ourselves and some can’t wait to criticise! We are fighting on 2 fronts, we need to conserve ourselves as much as possible, while still putting in credible performances, I’d say we are more than doing that!
Let’s just enjoy the ride, support the lads, and see where this incredible season takes us! Believe!

Probably eyeing up America. Fine player on his day but can't see him going down the league or indeed a division. Could do a season or two over there playing..soccer..

Contrary to many I thought Lovren was a weak link tonight with the turning circle of a ocean liner. Give him a straight line he is fine but turning and he was poor. Luckily that Marrega fella was sh*te.

Firmino just edged it in my opinion, I'm surprised everyone voted for Henderson. I thought Firmino 9, Henderson 8.5 and a few others 7-8.
