Last two rounds have worked out pretty well though.  Done even better away from home!

True, but would rather play away first as long as we keep it fairly tight..

I think like most we were pretty poor first half and defence hanging on. Hendo and Bob come on, and different game. Could have gone for either really but gone for Bob due to that defining moment he won the bill by our box, wrestled free and his  glorious cross field ball to set up the attack which led to us scoring.

In reality that's done city some good for their league campaign. 1 they have 2 less games now and 2 Spurs will not come down from this euphoria in time to live with City for a third time. City will be out for revenge.

Still, pretty F***ing funny and hopefully some doubts start creeping in to players minds.

Despite Mane's goal in the 1st 45, Porto dominated play but Allison was the difference maker blocking shot after shot.
      Allison ...MOTM

runner up....Mo.....what an assist.....the unselfish play that lifts LFC from very good to great. Great goal as well.
How about Henderson's delivery skills...3 games and counting.

I went for Hendo Motm. Him doing bits higher up is like a new little, late season signing.

Our midfield was dreadful, Milner was horrible. He did almost nothing good. Fortunately our strikers are world class and defense did their best with the little protection they had.

      Anyone's guess though...

Also possible: Psychological blow to Man City effects them badly and when they go out to play Spurs, they lose their confidence and momentum (with Spurs are buoyed with confidence) and fail to win the game.

Although Spurs lost today, and conceded 4 goals.. they will also know that they can score plenty past this team.

Great night again. MOTM Salah. Thought Allison was great. Kept us alive the first half.

City out is great but now they will concentrate on League. I think our best shot is United. Especially if they need the points for top 4. Barca will be tough. But we have the best defensive line in Europe and Allison is going to have to play on his head against Messi.

We were very ragged first half. Can't play like that against barca at camp noj. I thought allison done well hendo too and great to see gomez get game time and showed up well firmino too. Spurs in there match had sissoko off winks out struggling badly for Midfielders for that city clash now.

Still grinning from ear to ear at the site of Sterling wheeling around in delight a that goal!

We dug in and played like seasoned campaigners trying to reach a 3rd European final in three seasons. We'll need more of that at the Nou Camp. I actually think we would have been better off at Anfield in the first leg, that has suited us the last couple of years in this competition.

Roll on Barca. They look suspect at the back and can be got at when you press them high. The key will be getting a goal over there in the first leg.

In fact, I like to get Barca instead of Ajax/Spurs. Barca is a very attacking team and they will play a very high line. Lets practice some golf before the game.   Barca willl be in a big dilemma, attack us or not to attack us. Attack us, their fragile backline will be exposed, don;t attack us, it will be a matter of time before we score.

      Night cap anyone?

An Everton supporter fuelled fume of a night cap?

      No problem.
