Pretty much the line up I think it will be, apart from I think Gomez will be back alongside Virgil. Matip didn’t really do himself any favours against Porto and Cardiff should be the ideal game for Gomez to make his first start back.
I can see Gomez starting against Barca so he needs to get that rhythm and back playing properly for then.

Hope it’s a nice straightforward win for us but as usual it probably won’t turn out that way so just literally any win will do!

Back to the league, I want to see plenty of goals in this one and Huddersfield, lets try to close the gap on Citeh.

Just a tad concerned the way Fab ended the Porto game. He looked knackered. But he has got to start cos Cardiff will play with 2 blocks of 4 and we need Hendo and Keita to penetrate.

      Any kinda win would do.

Goal difference will only be a factor if City lose one and we draw one.  Other than that scenario, it's irrelevant so not worth worrying about.

They have to drop points for us to win the league so 4 x 1-0 wins would do us.

Cardiff will park 2 busses in front of their goal, they need points, and even 1 point will be better then 0 at this stage. We need to again, be patient in this one too!

I'd rather be bringing Gomez back into the fold against Huddersfield at home to be honest.

Agree. On that right side of the defence, Gomez-Lovren pair for Huddersfield and TAA-Gomez pair for Barca, esp since Dembele will be back and Joe's pace will be crucial.

Yep, would expect this XI to start.
Thought Origi and Gini were really poor in Porto. Milner a little better. So Hendo, Keita and Bob start.
Maybe bring on Gomez once 2 up to make things solid.
Hendo's form has been a real plus in recent matches, hope will be again.
Then maybe Spuds can do us a favour - running out of games, need someone to take a bite out of them soon.
And we have to get the 3 points.

Slight suggestion that Robbo is looking a bit weary. I think he has given everything this season would it be that much of a gamble to rest him and play Jim lad V Cardiff. We will need him on top blob esp for the Barca game.

The boss has managed the squad incredibly well. Has managed TAA to perfection. So I'm sure he'll make the right call on Robbo.

That might be a good suggestion but I'm not sure how dangerous or not Cardiff are down that flank.

Robbo missed the first leg against Porto and was taken off with 20mins to go Wednesday.

      He will be fine.

The Porto pitch was heavy and one or two might be feeling it so I wouldn't rule out Klopp resting one or two. Tired players get injured easier and obviously we can't afford to lose anybody thru over stretching.

Warnock threw the towel in at City but he might just come at us and leave the back door open. If he sits deep as he might we will have to keep at it till the chances come.

The odds will be stacked against Cardiff again when they face Liverpool on Sunday.

The last time the Bluebirds beat the Reds was 1959, as the legendary Bill Shankly's first game in charge of Liverpool ended in a 4-0 defeat.

"Was it really? Wow. What a man. My favourite manager of all time," said Warnock.

Fairly confident of a two or three goal win for the Reds. Despite this game being a potential banana skin. Think the way the side are performing, we'll be too strong for Cardiff.

We have the quality to win this by a couple of goals at least. City winning today with one decent chance while spurs wasted four or five great chances and a blatant handball not given. Lucky lucky city we should be still too clear. No wonder ederson was man of match. Let's hope tomorrow least we're back top. It would mean so much to win the league on 30th anniversary of hillsbourough.

After watching spurs spurn 4glorious chances today and also denied two penalties I felt sick. How city won that today I don't know. Spurs didn't deserve a draw they deserved three points. We should be two ahead not one behind again. Hopefully tomorrow a routine win no injuries and surely city can't get sane luck on weds.

Just reading spurs forum there on man city match and before the match was a disgrace most of them on it saying just play the reserve team so the dippers there words win nothing. Nearly all said same thing. I thought spurs had decent fans. Disgusting teams would prefer there own team lose to avoid us winning anything. The amount of chances one on one's spurs had if kane was fit city I think would got nothing today.

Every kunt  hates us FOAR, you know that, we don’t rely on any f**ker doing us favours, other teams have their own agendas , like scum will have theirs against City, they ironically stand between us & lifting the title next month , despite the rivalry Utd will remain professional and will want to win that game, they may need to for CL qualification next season,
Most think City will go on unbeaten and nick it by 1pt, particularly after their CL F**k up, but I can’t see us losing or dropping any points either, but do see Scum taking a point from City at least,
      Not relying on it though,
Cardiff will make it as hard as possible but we will be too good and will piss it in the end,.....

                                                                   Alison
                                            Milner.     Gomez.    VvD.   Robertson
                                                                 Fabinho
                                                    Hendo.                  Keita
                                                 Salah         Firmino.       Mane

Really can’t see Cardiff F***ing things up for us, we’ve had more slippery banana skins in Spuds & Chavs and dealt with them comfortably, we’ve come too far to F**k it up now, so this is it, going right down to the wire, been saying this since August, this is our year, we’re back on the perch .

They are 3 points behind Brighton so they will do anything to get a result. But they might just get carried away and attack us with a bit to much gung ho...and we'll bite them on the arse.

They will probably be in "no mans land"..between attack and defence. Warnock is no great tactician, if he was he would've kept one of these teams in the Premiership before now. He has a yo-yo history. He'll probably out think himself.

I'm always nervous until the first one goes in and hopefully it's an early one as I've predicted 4-1 to the Red Men! COYR.

8-0 would be nice. Close that goal difference.

Lets hope they missed out top 4. Looks like they have put all the eggs into one basket. What if they loose to Ajax, devastated and loose the rest of the games and missed out on top 4. Lets hope karma strikes them dead.
