Difficult game against a very well organised Rafa side who are playing without the threat of relegation. Does Klopp play our strongest 11 and then put our title hopes firmly in the hands of Leicester or does he save a bit for Wednesday still in the hope of turning in a comeback from 3 zip down? I would expect him to rotate a few players for this one. I think Ox might play a part, Trent will start, Lovren will play and I wonder if Shaqiri even gets a game. No Sturridge please.

Does anyone know if Perez is fit for them? I know he came off with a hip injury last weekend, big boost if he's not fit.

Got to finish the job and force City to win out.

      Tuesday mate :)
Wouldn't want you to miss it ;)

I think we can definitely play Joe, Ox and I'd also play Shaquiri, we need to give all these guys some more game time in case we need them in the remaining games. If Bobby is rested then I'd like to see Shaquiri alongside Mo and and Sadio to really stretch and probe at the Newcastle defence.

I'm not sure I want us to smash them.
Win comfortably, yes, but I have a soft spot for Rafa, so smash, no.

The fullbacks and the midfielders are those for whom three matches in 6 days take the biggest toll, but remember we are looking at only 3 or 4 matches total remaining this season. Trent was kept out Wednesday, and there will be at least one change in midfield for Saturday with Naby out. If there is another position to change it might be left back, in which case I'd expect Milner to play there if Jürgen opts to rest Robbo (with Henderson, Gini and Fabinho in midfield and Origi up front with Mo and Sadio).

You need to figure out who you support, Rafa or Liverpool FC?
I want us to annihilate every single team we play, especially in this case as we will need every little bit of momentum we can build up for Tuesday, not some limp dick squeeky 1 nil win or a draw just to make sure Rafa or the Geordies doesn't feel to sad.

How it is irrelevant I am asking you a direct question on your choice of team as you don't rate the players I mentioned.

....Absolutely no time nor place for sentiment at this or any part of the season, love Rafa to bits but even he wouldn't want us going soft on him or his player's,
If we f***in Smash em, fine by me, i don't think we will tho, but will win with  relative comfort,
The season for me will be won or lost this weekend imo, if City were to drop points V Leicester we will clinch it at Home V Wolves, if not, i honestly can't see the Seagull's shitting on City's parade last game.

Agree with the team except Gomez, I see Lovren playing with Matip rested for Barcelona.

      Otherwise full strength.

      Subs bench no idea though.

Pain in the gash at this stage watching out for their results as much as ours.
The lads are doing all they can, can't ask anymore.
They deserve something out of the season..

Guys I will not do the last three Live thread because I never won a final with them! I need to break this bad superstition! Hope whoever do them put the same effort in them.

We need to get back to business and beat them. We need a put pressure back on City for Monday.

      Come on Reds.

Perez and lacasheles who missed the last game are both fit. There was talk of him going to Liverpool last summer Good defender and I like schar too. . Benitez says he desperate for the win. I don't think it be easy hope Bobby is now fit. Think we win out 2-1. Come on you reds. Ynwa

How the F**k is Perez fit he limped off after just 20 minutes last game didn't he, tough tackle on him in the opening few minutes I think, take him out again.
In any case even full strength we should beat Newcastle.

KDB went off on a stretcher at one point last season, looked to be a bad knee injury....played the next week. Some players are lucky.

But whether Perez plays or not, it shouldn’t change the outcome of who gets 3 points. We should be winning this match regardless of who is able to play for them.
