Good morning, my nick is Dutch and I'm Dutch. Living my whole life in The Hague. Back in 1971 (yes I'm not a spring chicken  )  my football team Holland Sport seized to exist when the counsel of The Hague decided that there was only room for one professional football club. I was without a team for about 20 years.

That stopped when a mate of mine took me to Anfield in 1992, fell in love with the Reds instantly. Been going to matches ever since and following them in my local O'Cassey's.

Just a small query here as I don't have the rights to start a thread.

I will be in York from 20 July to 26 July for a conference. Only free day i have is 21 July. First time in UK so any idea how i can fit in a day trip to Anfield on 21 July? Best bet seem to be is to take a train from York. Do I have any other options?

From York, Car or train I think is the best option, there is parking outside the ground, but if the train is your choice, taxi may be the best option, but there is an official bus to the ground, but I have no details.

You should just be able to turn up, so no pre-booking needed.
