Very entertaining. My favorite bit "oh history writer, don't close the pages yet."

I get most of the references, but why does he mention Mourinho?

He said on Bein sport he would bet not one single coin on Liverpool.

Fair enough really but he was proven wrong.

      I really hate Arabic commentators

they talk so much and things that are irrelevant about the game. sometimes even life stories of players.

      Quick question...

Does the season review DVD/BluRay disc have LFCTV commentary or the BT sport one?

I can’t stand the LFCTV commentary - thanks guys.

You can answer an off-topic question I've had for a while. Would someone who plays County cricket but not for England,  be able to make a living at that?

Just come on and this is the first post I seen... in the Liverpool 4 Barca 0 thread.

      My head's gone.

Yes they can. With the new tv deal they will get a pay rise. Even those who don't play in various competitions around the world can earn a living. It isn't fantastic by any means, a player capped by his county can earn roughly 30 grand a year. Young players pay is increasing as it used to be a pittance. In the old days til about the 60s it used to have professionals and amateurs in the same team. They had different dressing rooms which also used to be the same for capped and uncapped players. Capping is where a player reaches a level of consistent performance and is given a cap. Some english counties have got rid of this. In the days of amateurs and professionals the captain had to be amateur. Of course the word amateur never stopped some making a few quid ahem.

When Ginny jumped so high, I think it could the highest he had jumped in his life to head the ball and scored, we know it has all the hallmark of Stevie's goal in Istanbul, from thereon we were destined to win the CL.

Well if there is a better one I cant remember it. It wasn't merely we beat the favourites 4-0 to overcome a 3-0 defeat in the first leg it was 90 minutes of pure football aggression we simply over powered them.
