Thanks, Don. I'm going to send your post to Anfield.

Last night was almost as good as seeing the Saint score from Cally's cross in 1965, when we won our first F.A.Cup

Send it... Hope it does the trick  ;D

Had not quite started supporting Liverpool then, the thing foremost on my mind then was getting a Johnny Seven

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCBvu9MX-po

      Never did get one  :(

Got LFC instead... It has bought me more happiness that that gun would have

No more nearly men. No more losing cup finals. This year we simply have to win and we will. Madrid robbed us last year of Mo when we were well on top. It just ironic that this year's final is on there home patch. We need to turn that stadium into a cauldron of red fill it up. This is a night where we gotta be there.

what impressed me and actually blew my mind was the intensity of our effort for 95 mins it never dropped once I would love to see just how far the lads run no wonder they looked both physically and emotionally drained afterwards. There was a comment thatJurgen killed his players and they had nothing left at the end of a season but I didn't see any tired legs last night and I don't think another team on the Planet could have coped with us last night.

remember reading those comments and i don't think they were completely false. His style does wear people out but this season we look better suited partly because we have more depth and partly because he was tweaked his approach and we don't play balls to the wall every day the way we did in the past.

      Agreed Wal.
When Hendo went down with his knee I honestly thought he would be coming off.. The physio was talking in his little mic back to the dug out as if to tell them he was finished and it looked like he was in a lot of pain, but he hobbled back up, went over to the touchline and carried on and played on like nothing happened, harassing and closing down brilliantly.
Then, when VVD collapsed with that head clash, I thought 'Oh No' we can't lose him to concussion as well surely.. but he pulled himself up and battled on..

A proper battle we won last night against the polished prince's of Barcelona..
Some of their newspaper headlines this morning are unbelievable..

At the start of Prime Ministers Questions Jeremy Corbyn mentioned Liverpool's great victory as an example to Mrs.May.May came back and said "Just shows you never give up the fight". Obviously a Brexit undercurrent but even Parliament trying to get in on the act.

Driving home 15 minutes ago, tunes into Radio 4 and low and be...their only interviewing David Fairclough on the match.Only a matter of time before they offer Jürgen a knighthood or free chips from a chippy of his choice....I'd take the feckin' chips..

Dirty shits from top to bottom. That "red card" check was Ter Stegen trying to sell that Gini hit him on the face while getting the ball. What a bunch of pathetic losers.

Me too; so many great performances and the critical clean sheet was largely down to Alisson's positional sense, so I nearly gave it to him, but Hendo was a lion for the entire match.  All over the park, he was full of fire!  Still in a state of shock!!

I just think he set the tone from the very first second, and his burst into the box, where he was unlucky not to score (but we did anyway) relly got us going.

Barca tried to slow the game down, by feigning injury, and their usual shithouse tactics, but he wasn't having any of it.

There were other players who were just as good, if not better in their play, but I think he really drove the team on, and along with Milner ws a great example to the other lads.

Never realized how much of an asshole Suarez was. He disrespected our players and the Club that called him family.  He deserved this loss.

May came back and said "Just shows you never give up the fight".

She should be reminded that the goal scorers are Dutch and Belgian respectively and our team, including the coach, are full of European and non-European nationals. The team, fans and club have an international identity with a Merseyside heart beating through it. We do not want opportunistic Tories to piggy back on the success of our great club for their political gains, especially after what they did to this great city in the 80s and what they're trying to do now.

God did mention before the game that he's always had an issue with Suarez. The way he tried to engineer a move to Arsenal, and the way he disrespected the club last week with his wild celebrations. It is the way he always plays, he doesn't know how to play any other way, but a tiny bit of humility doesn't take much effort.

He can do one. I used to say I'd have him back just because of how good he is, but not after this. I wouldn't let him clean the club toilets if he begged.

No other club could have pulled that off, City wouldn't have even sold out their ground if that was them.

Players will want to come and play for Klopp and experience that.

I watched the game on BT and have to say Rio Ferdinand was class even being an ex manc with how he was rightly praising us.

Ferdinand is a kunt, last week along with Linaker celebrated us conceding the Messi free kick by jumping up & down and hugging each other, yes it was a worldly FK but those two celebrated like they were still playing,
Here was me thinking that pundits & presenters were supposed to be impartial...except when it comes to LFC it seems??
