On Tuesday morning I was speculating on the two miracles needed in the week ahead and came to the conclusion that reaching the Champions League final (out of the two) would be the least likely outcome.

So I checked the bookmakers who confirmed my thoughts  - they had us at 19/1 to reach the Champions League final and 6/1 to win the Premier League.

There may have been one or two lone voices of crazy optimism last summer (I wasn't one of them) but I doubt very much any of us on here pictured us chasing 97 points when the season started in August.

Enjoy your Saturday everyone, and I hope you all enjoy Sunday even more.  And irrespective of what happens by 5pm tomorrow remember this season isn't over.

I have a weird feeling about tomorrow. When things seem very clear and logical in football this is usual when the "laws of physics" gets bend and unexpected things happen you can't really explain.

Hopefully that’s reverse psychology & he has a secondary objective as in twating city.

Why are you always so bothered about what is said on talksport? Everyone knows they are full of sh*t.

Simple answer - don’t listen to them and them and then you can stop fretting over what they say.

I think we beat wolves 3-1. With de bryne back for city I think they win by a couple of goals at least. But after this week proves one thing miracles can happen.

Hoping for one more miracle this season and Brighton take points off City somehow tomorrow.

Looking back at an amazing PL season there really is nothing between us and City now. Incredible considering the difference in spending over the last few seasons.

It's a shame we didn't take all points in the Leicester and West Ham games we really should have won, but City were beaten more than us, any other season our necks are still in front.

I still believe there could be a twist in the tale. And if we are pipped to the post Sunday we will come back even stronger next season.

In this mad mad week of football could we please not have one more miracle. 90 mins are up city lead 1-0 and pool drawing. Salah puts lpool 2-1 up in injury time then in 93 Rd minute Kompany takes down Murray Brighton pen. I think I'd have to turn the TV off at that point. Could it be like the aguero moment where the title swings back and forwards right till a injury time goal decides it.

Newcastle's and Barca's second leg I refused to do the live thread because I have a Klopp's record in finals and I do not want to do it this afternoon too.

Come on Reds, it's been a fantastic season thanks for everything whatever happens!

If that's true what it says on liverpool fc latest news that Brighton players spent three nights out on town this week celebrating fact that they stayed up then that shows a terrible lack of respect when there season not over. Hopefully those players don't play today. Not ideal preparation for city.

I am starting to get genuinely suspicious of all these teams putting in half arsed efforts against City, it must be more than just fear of an opponent. I would not put it past that F***ing shithouse plastic oil money club to be putting in some bribes and brown envelopes to rival clubs/players. Obvious examples are Palace, Burnley and even Leicester, all three played way below their usual standard of intensity when they played against City, compared to how they all raise their game against us.

watching some guys from Delaware supporters club. One guy born in Liverpool another guy from Baltimore his grandfather played in goal in the 1950's he lost his first game 9-2. They believe and have got their collective arses across the Atlantic to prove it and they are going to Madrid although its probably cheaper to fly from the US to Madrid than Liverpool.
We have positivity coming from all over the world everyone with a special story about their connection with this incredible club lets just hope today we can summon every Red across the world to think positive thoughts and lets see were that get us at 5pm.
