Agee with the team.  I think Studge will be the odd man out as far as the bench is concerned.

I agree with you regarding Sturridge,I don't think we will see him in a Liverpool shirt again.

Just in case someone who can help sees this, the ballot is in a couple days for tickets. If any spares for myself and AussieRed are knocking about, please DM either of us! Everything else is booked to head over to Madrid.

Likewise, Billy. But there's also a part of me that thinks we need him on the bench - he's still our most natural striker and despite recent weeks, our best finisher. Could be invaluable for a match like this.

Could knock Lovren off that squad with Gomez and if need be Milly there for defensive cover. Make sure all the others are available off the bench.

Think last year it was ticketed basically everywhere mate as I remember looking myself, so be sure 100% you find somewhere mate if you do that!

Thought it might be. Will do bud cheers!

Just need to be there for the atmosphere no matter what happens.

If you assume its same XI as Sunday - apart from Bobby for Origi

      Bench I would have

Origi , Sturridge, Shaq, Milner, Ox , Gomez and Migs

Milner and Gomez cover your defence , and you have potential penalty takers to come on ...

May well be ticketed in town, especially with it being a Saturday night but it probably won't be around Anfield e.g. The Sandon.

Look like the squad is off to Marbella again for a weeks training, after a week off. Hope they don't perform in the final they way they did after they returned from their last "sunshine training."

Pity, he hasn't had more play time, especially as this seems the first season he has been fit from the start.

Seen madrid last year  and barca this year who would do anything to win dark arts and all. I'm not saying we should revert to same just need to be cute in certain situations.

100% we should use any tactics to win the game.

Whoever the ref is we have to watch his previous games and see what he is like on certain challenges then use this 100% to our advantage.

I do not want to see another lost final because we didn't go down in the box on contact or to win free kicks in dangerous areas.

We don't need to be doing a "Suarez" but we have to learn to play the occasion and the referee to get over the line.

Ok so we’re the away team but we get the home dressing room.........

Assume it’s red kit as no clash?

If i could have one spurs player for our squad I'd take dele ali. The little deft flicks and speed of his feet against ajax. Moura very quick footed too. Keep those two under control and we're on our way to number 6. Is anfield putting up a large screen?

I'm constantly bemused why Sturridge is described as our most natural striker when he simply isn't. He doesn't run into the correct places, his touch is poor, his shots are poor, his link up play is poor so in what way is he a "natural". By the way I am taking into consideration that he is rarely match sharp but even so a "natural striker" should still be capable of a lot more than he shows.

I think our most natural striker is Mane, with Salah being very close behind but capable of a little bit more magic than Sadio although even that is debateable, especially if you consider Sadio's his goal in Munich ;-)

really, Dele Ali??? Have you watched him lately, completely anonymous. I'd take Erikson and Son and maybe Kane. Actually Spurs have a pretty good team, but ours is better in every area, honestly I would not swap any of our players for theirs although Erikson would come damned close to a start in midfield.

The VAR referee is Dutch, so not much love for Spurs I would think. :-)

Does anyone know much about this referee, seems pretty experienced?

2013 CL final was one of his highlights I think as fourth official.

I know exactly what you mean, its like the body is still pumping around loads of adrenaline and there is no release for another few weeks. I'm actually quite looking forward to after the final and having a break from football. This season, certainly the second half, has been all consuming, more than any other season I've known. I really hope next season is more of a gentle stroll to the league and that if City do get banned from CL that maybe Pep fucks off over to PSG or an Italian club for a new challenge.
