Thought about both Madrid and Liverpool but in the end I'll be heading up to watch this one with my old man. Not sure how many more finals we'll get to watch together so you can bet we're going to enjoy every second of this one.

Can't believe it's still more than a week away though!

In the same boat wanted to go Madrid that fell through , planned to go out with mates then to watch it ,
But we rewatched the semi last night my dad me and my nephew , now Im thinking I’m going to stay in watch it with them same as don’t know how many more my dads going to see , he got excited last night watching a game that was two weeks old , he stopped going the games with me two years ago and he misses it like crazy .

I saw our first European Trophy (UEFA Cup )when the World is in Black and white but since then 1977 on when we get the first TV pics in the ground I am always taken a back by how many Reds get into the ground for these finals it is always an emotional and immensely proud moment . I already have my Scarf out in front of the TV (it hasn't moved since the Barca game) Final T shirt and Flag up these games always make you feel like a kid again. I think we have the best team in a generation and the best manager for a few generations nothing is going to stop us these boys will be on fire come the 1st June

Totally relate to that mate,my dad is 89 this year & after missing out on the title by the narrowest of margins he’s desperate to see us lift the European cup  so like you I’ll be watching it with him & our kid.
If we succeed in Madrid ( we will btw) the homecoming & turn out the following Sunday will surpass that of 2005 which was a sight in itself.
As a foot note to Aussie, crouchie & dado have a safe trip lads & enjoy ever second of it as it’s going to be momentous.

      I believe so!

Will be nice to lift number 7 there!
Let alone if football justice has at last been restored some days earlier and will have won our 19th League by then.

Come on mate - I don’t think we appreciate just how good Hyypia, Carragher, Gerrard, Alonso, Riise, Hamman and Garcia were. They got to that final for a reason... superb management and superb football.

Trying to compare the two sides is ludicrous for me, two completely different outfits playing different kinds of football but with two footballing genius managers,
For Rafa to take that side all the way through that CL campaign and Win it is nothing short of miraculous,  for those players the heart, the desire, the fight and the passion was in itself legendary and most probably The highlight of their careers, including, Gerrard, Carra, Hyypia, Alonso the only players from that side who' imo, could have played in our current side,

It was a moment in Football not only as part of the history and folklore of LFC but for the Game itself and will never ever be forgotten.

Jürgen Klopp has already in his 4 seasons given us memories that all of us should be incredibly proud of, three major European finals within those four seasons is outstanding, second in the league losing only once and amassing a collosal 97 points ,missing out only to the oil rich whores at Eastlands by a single point,
Rejoice my fellow Redmen, for we are at the precipice of glory under Herr Klopp, starting next Saturday when We WILL be lifting our old friend 'Ol Big Ears for the Sixth time and therefore opening the floodgates for further glories down the line,
This is just the start of Jürgen's success years, for three and a half years he has been building,  Building our Bastion of invincibility,  and are close, we are very close to the finished article,  we are already a match for the best side the premier league has ever, ever ever ever, seen in the history of the premier league,  EVER,
yet there is more to come, next season We will be even better than we are already, cos not only will we be Champions domestically we'll be Champions in Europe too.

      BOSS THA !!
