News everyone expected but wish them well. Daniel was some talent but injuries really hampered his career. Moreno is no longer at the level required to play for this team but should be able to find a starter job at a lower level team.

Both have been class citizens and wish them well. Moreno saw a CM take his position and yet he behaved professionally all throughout his time here. Ditto for Daniel.

They are. Don't know what the future holds for Studge, but can't help but think the MLS might be a good fit for him.

And how it should be. Both Daniel and Moreno were class citizens until the last day and just because they are no longer good enough for the team doesn't mean they should get flung with the vitriol that some retards do on here.

One of the most gifted players to have ever played for Liverpool. His contribution for this club especially those first 18 months after he signed in Jamuary 2013 was beyond most would dream of. That season where we almost won the league, he was out of this world. He never scored the same goal twice for us and I still think back to that Everton match in early 2014 where he utterly humiliated them throughout. One of my favourite Premier League memories that game.

Free of injury I really believe we'd have been looking at the greatest English striker we've ever seen. His technique and ability was unbelievable.

We may not have won anything whilst he was in his prime but he contributed so much towards giving us a sense of thrill and purpose back to our play when he did sign for us. His goal against PSG at the very start of our victorious campaign was in hindsight vital (without it we wouldn't have progressed). So even in his last season for us he was still contributing great things (along with that ridiculous equaliser against Chelsea!)

A Champions League winners medal is the least he deserves for all his hard work and glorious. Thanks for everything Danny. You're a star!

I’m a massive fan! I love Sturridge. Will never forgot some of the moments he gave me. Some of those F***ing goals were insane... such a natural finisher.

Alberto seems like a great character and a well liked lad. Never lived up to the early promise he showed against Spurs and others in his first season. Real shame.

I hear people saying maybe the MLS but he's 29.  If he's fit then he is still good enough for the Premier League.  Going to the MLS isn't going to make him more likely to be fit.

Good luck to both lads. I can’t deny that I don’t feel a lot safer knowing that Moreno can’t find his way into the pitch no matter the injury problems we have but evidently he was a model pro and a good team mate so good luck to him.

As for Studge, what a wonderfully gifted player. Such a shame he has lost some of the physical traits needed to perform in the premier league. I actually think Serie a or Ligue 1 would be a good fit for him. Both leagues are a little less physical and played at a gentler pace. I’d argue the MLS is actually going the other way, it always looks a bit frantic to me whenever I tune in. Again, Studge has evidently been a model team mate this season and he gave us a couple of big goals vs PSG and away at Chelsea in the league. I really hope he can find a home and enjoy the next few years of his career because he’s a class act.

Daniel was so unlucky with his injuries but what a finisher he was he made it look simple. Moreno I thought was improving until his injury too but we can and will replace them and make us stronger in the long run.

It does open up two squad positions - which we all thought that were needed to fill anyway, so would expect minimum 2 transfers this summer window

Sturridge will always have that sense of "what if" about him, no question the ability is there but definitely had his time with us hampered by injuries. Watching his goals back, you can see he has really lost that explosiveness and sharpness. But he's played a massive part this season whilst playing very little football, a few massively important goals.
Not sure where he will end up but wherever he goes, if he can stay injury free then he could still have a successful end to his career. A player who's attitude can't be faulted, even went out on loan to West Brom to put himself in a better position. Lots of players who go from being a backup player when fit after being a massively important player at one stage would have thrown their toys out the pram so credit to him.

Moreno on the other hand, I don't think there is any coincidence that he hasn't seen a single minute of play since he done that interview to the Spanish(?) media, bitching and complaining about Klopp and his lack of football before the turn of the year. Seems to be a good fit with the lads but we are well shot of him, nothing but a disaster of a player who made it quite clear early on that he didn't have what it takes to be a success in the Premier League. Expect he will go off to a mid table La Liga team...failing that, would probably be pretty decent at athletics, he's pretty rapid.

I'd like to say both players played their part but IMO, Moreno done far more harm than good.
