United might actually be pretty decent next season with all these signings, wish we could make some!

Is that the 5th or 6th time now “a deal agreed”

If Klopp is hugging him and telling him what a great player he is then why the F**k are WE not putting in a bid?

Wouldn’t use that analogy mate, look at half the crap that’s got winners medals from the league over any of our greats in the Prem era.

It’s as good as analogy to use - no one can state clearly that Fernandes would do any better - better players than him have arrived in the Prem and flopped.

Our midfield were key to winning that CL and people won’t ever give them enough credit.

Still no one has taken the punt on Fernandes when he is available- that tells a story

Disagree with the analogy part still, we all know there was many better than Djimi Traore but good ‘ol Djimi has a CL medal to his name.

Agree with better players having failed in the Prem. that’s the gamble with any signing though.

Traore was Traore - our midfielders are not at the level of bambi on ice

It is but Klopp is not going to spend millions on an attacking mid when 12 months he spent millions on Keita , and 12 months before that he spent millions on Ox

Right now he has multiple options in the middle from players he has bought - he won’t give up on them until they get given a chance

If there was space in the team then no doubt he would look for someone.

;D yes by that definition Phil Neville is better than any of our recent midfielders 😁

It's not as if Bruno recently carved up the CL medal wearing back 7...the back 7 that relinquished 22 goals last season.

To the question: who, under 100 mill, would make LFC better....
The Bruno could play anywhere in the front seven IMO and elevate the team thru pass, shooting, or on defense. Elite starting caliber who also can provide cover and rest over the long season
Oh well....it was a fun dream.

once again 100% agree, he could have been our missing piece, but alas for some unknown reason he doesn't tick all of JĂźrgen's boxes so we stick with Origi who was so amazing against Sporting and Napoli, oh erm....

      It’s pre season

The same Bruno did sweet FA in the Europa league against a really poor Arsenal - a game that actually matters

He is available and no one has actually bid for him - maybe he just isn’t worth the price

Seriously you need to stop with the trolling

Origi was massive to our a CL win and I have no doubt that you celebrated that win - not sure why you keep bringing Origi into everything but it’s just part of your make up - remember on previous forums it used to be Kuyt or Lucas

Shows how much of a clueless troll you are

Origi - match winning goals to help his team to win the CL

Fernandes - anonymous as his team did nothing in the Europa

I have repeatedly said that Origi scored some crucial goals for us, the one from the Trent corner will live long in my memory, and I will eternally be grateful to him for them but that does not change my opinion that he is a sub standard striker akin to Rickie Lambert. We need better options in reserve if we are to really push Citeh. Citeh have 6 superb forwards to choose from we have 3 and then Origi and Brewster. Origi is not good enough and Brewster is an unknown quantity. Even if Brewster is like Owen and instantly hits the ground running then I still think we need one more quality forward in the squad.

So even an 18-year old Michael Owen wouldn't be enough for today's squad.....

Actually on reflection he probably would be, in fact if Brewster turns out to be as good as some think then I'd be happy enough having Origi as 5th choice, but how realistic is it that he will be considering he is just back from long term injury an untested in the league?
