Preseason friendlies in England, America

To be fair, you're are trying a bit too hard!

It's pre-season, it's about about building up fitness and making sure younger players feeling comfortable playing with the big boys, which means making mistakes and hopefully learning from them. Winning every friendly 4 or 5 nil serves no purpose half the time.

I’m not trying anything, I haven’t even mentioned the game since, so no idea why you are pushing that one. All you’ve done is replied to a post from a few days ago and gotten the context of what I was saying all wrong.
Apologies for wanting us to win every game regardless of the circumstances, must make me such a bad supporter.
Also my initial gripe was the fact we were playing so sh*t at the time but I wasn’t even having this discussion with you and I’m not going into it again.

The Club World Cup is a tiny bit mickey mouse but its still prestigious in my opinion, and I was pissed off when we didn't win it last time.

The charity shield is more or less a glorified friendly, on that I agree, BUT Pep takes it seriously and beating them puts down a marker for the season so I want to win that as well.

If we’re keeping track of how many times we win it on our trophy wall it’s not a friendly.

I see the game is not on live TV here, but I'm afraid the LFC TV feed is going to blacked out live, even though i've paid for it and it's not live on U.S. TV (meaning they effectively tell me to pay for it again on Bleacher Report. That would ruin the end of the weekend for sure.

fuming here because as predicted, i cannot watch the game despite paying for the subscription. I get it if they black it out on LFCTV because they want me to watch on TNT (who they sold the USA rights to)....but TNT isn't showing the game, it is only on Bleacher Report and they want you to pay a 2nd time to access it.

Thanks. My outrage is misplaced. Apparently the site agreed with LFC to show the game free of charge on their web site. My bad for shooting first and asking questions later.

Unfortunately we have the C team USA commentators, but...I'll live.
