There was some talk of Keita and Shaqiri being fit for this one, but obviously they're not quite ready yet.

      Plenty of options though.

Gifted them that goal really, poor from Matip.

Strange line up as well with 5 central midfielders starting but I guess we just don't have the options.

Origi misses a relatively easy chance then gives the ball away cheaply and we are hurt on the break.

We look hung over from the 6th. Defending has been terrible in pre-season, however, the front 3 in the lineup make defense so much easier in that teams cant afford to attack.

but but but Origi is more than enough cover for our regular front three apparently or so I've been told on here.

If we play like this they will, they are much better than Napoli, our defence looks crap, completely our of form.

BTW Obviously I know they are not crap but form wise this is not great

Is it not preseason for Napoli as well, why do they look so much sharper than us?

BTW can someone remind me how amazing Origi is and why we don't need to buy any better forwards?

How am I clearly an idiot, you however are clearly rude.

I know its a F***ing preseason, but we look rubbish against another team who is also in preseason, and I'm not talking about rubbish in attack, that's to be expected, but rubbish in midfield and defence with our main defenders and midfielders playing, that is worrying to me, I'm so happy for you that you don't give a sh*t.

Whatā€™s our excuse for this performance now we canā€™t blame the heat?

It may well be pre-season but the more pre-season goes on, the sharper and better the team should be getting, but in truth, we havenā€™t played well since the Tranmere game. Itā€™s pre-season for Dortmund, Sevilla, Sporting and Napoli too but they have all looked so much better and sharper than us.

I know we donā€™t have the front 3 but what happens in the season if something happens and we donā€™t have them? We canā€™t use the excuse of ā€œjust pre seasonā€ then, this is when the like of Origi should be excelling but instead when we say we are looking poor in attack itā€™s ā€œbut the front 3 arenā€™t availableā€... even though people keep saying the cover we have is more than adequate, though Iā€™m not so convinced as it stands.

People will dismiss it because itā€™s ā€œonly pre-seasonā€, but maybe take a look back to when Klopp has been bollocking players from the sideline in recent games and tell him it doesnā€™t matter, itā€™s just pre-season.

First few games itā€™s understandable to be off the pace but not at this stage, we are a matter of weeks away from the start of the season now, we need to start looking like a team that is ready, which like it or not, right now we couldnā€™t look much further from it.
