Bizarrely there are still a lot of people that rave about Lloris as a top keeper. Never rated him, he’s basically Mignolet but with more hype.

My Spurs mate, still thinks replacing Poch with Maureen was the correct move, he blames Spurs's ageing squad and of course injuries. I actually think Spurs have a pretty decent squad and they should certainly be playing better than they are.

There could potentially be 1-3 Italian teams in the next round of the CL and there are 2 Italian teams in the EL whose first leg dates are TBD, I wouldn't be surprised if they postpone the competitions for a couple of months.

I agree, I think it makes sense to cancel this, that isn't just sour grapes because we are out of it. You could easily cancel this now without it really affecting anything, it would just be a missed year. No one benefits or is harmed by it. The competition is at the last 16 phase, apart from 4 teams through to quarters in CL, so there is no clear advantage to any team at this stage.
