      Pathetic.

Always good for a laugh that forum especially when things aren’t going their way. All sorts of conspiracy theorists emerge. In November more than half of them wanted Pep sacked.

Didn’t really watch with a great deal of interest given the teams involved.

Chelsea deserved the win, at the moment they set up really well for the ‘big’ games although it’ll be interesting to see how long Tuchel can keep the peace there.

Incredible now that Pep has had 5 cracks at the CL on an unlimited budget and still not got it done!

Don't forget his time at Bayern, which was an utter disaster with the squad he had. They should have won at least twice under him but failed at the semi finals.

Didn't watch much of the game, apart from the opening. Despite all their money City still have not lifted the Champions League trophy ! I think we will probably win it again before City capture their first . Proving money cannot buy you everything ,

At the end of the day Pep's just too neurotic for his own good. Clearly an excellent manager but he overthinks things and in matches like these his intensity probably projects itself as anxiety to his players.

Indeed and some characteristics shared by our own saviour Rafa Benitez.

Yeah I saw that in Rafa but probably without the negative intensity. Both Pep and Rafa are incredibly intelligent people and quite individualist with it. It can be inspired at times but it can also result in dud results like last night for Pep. Both have very complete ideas/images of their tactics in their mind which doesn't allow for much influence or input from assistants. I don't think they're arrogant or think they know better than anyone else it's just their characters and the way their mind works.

Klopp protects himself from that because there's real collaboration with his coaching staff. He's always been quite self deprecating about how he's not that smart (he is of course!) so I think that enables him to seek the advice and help of others. His managerial style is a lot more collaborative.

As soon as I seen he put Sterling in (who he dropped from the team for over a month now) at the expense of Rhodri or Fernandinho i felt they were in trouble.

Chelsea don't have a goalscorer but if they did they'd be close to title winners as they have everything from flying full backs,  2 solid centre halves, attacking depth, creativity and the main problem for City last night, Kante running all over them.

Huge mistake, such a mistake you almost felt like there must have been a master plan behind it, but it never came.

Very similar to when he decided to go 5 at the back V Lyon last year for the first time, yesterday was the first time he didn't start with 1 of Rhodri or Fernandinho and Gundogan was exposed.

The self-indulgent character traits of Rafa and Pep are their only chink while the apparent modesty and willingness to listen makes Jürgen a more complete football manager as you imply.

Klopp's sublime skills are the main factor in his unbroken success at the club's  he has managed while the big talkers/showmen come and go.

Klopp's is a proper bloke and he always takes responsibility and never blames the players. I know many of us have said it many times but he is perfect for this club and I would say we are perfect for him. The final saw once again just when they were ready to win a big important game Pep and his players choked. Tuchel has clearly got his number and fair play to Chelsea they really played for each other last night.

Anyone else feel like I do in that, that should be us holding up Number 7 and what a wasted opportunity that was for us.

We really should have beat Madrid, all those chances and didn't make them pay.

On our form over the last 10 matches, we would have beaten Chelsea in a Semi

and then we would have ripped City a new one in the Final.

Absolutely gutted and still to this minute, haven't seen a minute of the final between those 2 cu*ts and won't. They make me sick!!
