      UEFA Euro 2020

This has started already I think, going to take the easy option, and just post some images for the qualifying groups.

Unsure of the actual finals as they are I think being played around Europe, so if you're planning on going, good luck as Brexit may have ruined for freedom of movement plans.

Yeah no one country hosting, being played in several cities around Europe. Because of the embarrassing crowd for the Europa League Final, Baku's been jibbed from hosting games in the tournament.

important 1st win on the road for Portugal after 2 home draws

Bernardo Silva was MOTM. The guy's engine is incredible, he was everywhere.
and even dropping back to help to cover the back 4 and winning the ball. Such a great player.

Portugal with a 3-0 win Ronaldo  on the score sheet again, that’s 699 for club and county now

      Bernardo with another MOTM performance

All that talk about Southgate having players who deserve to be playing so he goes with a defence of Pickford, Trippier, Maguire, Keane and Rose. - 2 of them are in relegation, 1 is a couple points above relegation and 1 is floating at mid table so they are clearly not in form. Meanwhile Pope, TAA, Chilwell and even the likes of Tomori are all benched, players doing well and up in the European places. Surely got to be one of the worst England back lines there has been.

You'll win F**k all with that defence, Pickford, Keane have always been gash, Rose spent most of the night out of position or on the ground, Maguire ;D.

I think Southgate wanted to play like we do. Two ball playing CH’s two marauding full backs and two holding midfield players as cover.
Problem was he didn’t have the services of VVD Matip Robbo or Fab and chose to leave  TAA on the bench

But we don’t play with two holding midfield players.

Don’t usually watch England games apart from euro or World Cup games but had it on as my puppy was calm tonight.

What a bunch of scum bags in that crowd though. Wow!

Is racism in football only a issue in Europe.. you don’t hear such stories from the rest of the world..?

Or could the media in Europe highlight it more than the rest of the world?

What are Uefa playing at, because Euro 2020 qualifying results alone completely contradicts Euro 2020 Qualifying as a whole.

      For example:
Playoff participants are determined by UEFA Nations League results alone. A team could get 0 points in qualifying and advance to the playoff.
The qualifying group draw/schedule had to account for the remaining UEFA Nations League Final matches.
BUT THEN when we get to the Euro 2020 draw UEFA pretends Nations League had nothing to do with this qualifying process.

If nothing else, it just doesn't make sense to ignore the Nations League when it was obviously an integral part of Euro 2020 Qualifying. A team can essentially qualify for the tournament because of Nations League results........and yet THE SAME Nations League results then don't actually mean anything once the final 24 is determined.

Just remembered that comment from Lawrenson which was F***ing disgraceful at the time, especially considering it came after the six minute Justice chant!

Yeah I would think what UEFA were going for with the nations league is competitive matches (in the sense that nations are playing other nations of a similar quality) with the bonus of Euro 2020 playoff qualification as the prize and let the regular qualification groups that we have seen over the past year determine the nations that will qualify straight for Euro 2020.

I find how they determine the playoff path system to be really confusing but it now the popular thing to do in international is make systems that include as many teams as possible a chance to qualify.

Well, least have the Ireland v Slovakia playoff to look forward to on Thursday :)
Really hoping Stephen Kenny's men can give us something to cheer about, would be great to qualify, especially with some of the Euro matches set for Dublin [though F**k knows if we'll be able to go along anyway, motherfucking covid].
      Hope Robinson starts, and Connolly.
Not sure Seamus will be available.
BIG test for the new manager, after 1 point from first 6.
Surely we can't loose 2-7 AND get knocked out of the Euro's in the same week!!!!
