The league adapted to LFC's diminutive/highly agile front 3 by parking the bus and forcing the forwards to navigate around multiple lines of defense. Same defensive scheme deployed vs. Barcelona's smallish forwards over the past decade.
For LFC....no height up front to play an aerial game, no elite speed to overmatch defenders in the counter-strike game, no muscle to physically dominate in the box.
A big, fast guy like Haaland is exactly what this offense needs
      But I dream

What kills me most during this anemic scoring season is how LFC allows teams to get back in defensive position instead of pressing forward. I suppose this is Klopp's way of protecting his undermanned back line from counterstrikes.
Regardless, lack of goals is the issue, not conceding goals

You're not even a real Liverpool fan!! Still throwing shouts of "victim" about you f**king shitbag?

It's got to a state Dave when I read /answer Heimy's post I feel like I'm a Liverpool fan coz I'm always defending Klopp.  ;D Do you think he could just  not like Germans  :lmao:

Considering I work for a German company it's entirely possible but no, we all know who the confused xenophobic little twerp is on here, and its not me!

I have stated multiple times that whatever happens I will hold Klopp in the very highest esteem for the success he has brought us.

I would say that anyone who posts on here, including Keith, is a fan of Liverpool FC.

If you don’t understand the connotations of using the word victims around us then I genuinely would need to question your motives

Any genuine Liverpool fan would swerve using that in almost any debate, let alone throw it around suggesting we treat ourselves as it without meaning it as a not so subtle dig

I do understand the connotation, but I do not think it was meant that way, I'm fairly sure English is not his first language, so cut him some slack maybe.

Even if English isn’t his first language any Liverpool fan would understand the connotation

      Sorry, they would.

And any foreign Liverpool fan who is any what aware of the history of the club would avoid things like that

Born in Liverpool, been going the game since my dad took me aged 5, aware of the fact that calling our own fans "victims" like that c**t did is an absolute no-no when every other f**king set of gobahite fans use this as a slur against our fans regarding Hillsborough.

Also started being used a lot more after that piece Boris Johnson edited in the spectator back in 05. Something else to hate that tory c**t for.

Yours is just another ignorant, brain dead comment that has no sound basis or logic. What is it? Something, political/personal with Jürgen? That's the only conclusion I can come to because on a footballing level, your comments are a freakish joke.

      Not a top manager?

      F**k off.

3 days before we crossed the line last season, he said he preferred City's team, the team we were 23 points clear of. So that's the kind of poster you're arguing with. It's clear that if the result at the weekend is what it usually is there, he and a handful of others are going to spam the place with Klopp Out demands, but they would be better heading off to support Watford, and leave the rest of us alone.

My biggest issue with Jürgen atm, is wearing those facemasks when he doesn't have to. I'm sure he's wearing them in the dressing room as well. It must be affecting the clarity of his message. It certainly does when I'm trying to understand what someone in a mask is saying to me. It's no coincidence that after he started wearing them pitchside and on the bench, our results nosedived.

Hopefully they'll be gone next season, but Jürgen is here to stay.

Oh please.....Jürgen wears them sometimes and not others, pulls it down when he wants to talk...your post and his are both ridiculous. Our results aren't because Jürgen's wearing a mask from time to time. Good grief talking about grasping at straws (him) and virtue signaling (you).

I haven't post about Klopps results anything to do with face mask. I merely point out his mothers passing with covid is one of the  reasons why he wears mask.

Really? Is it? Because I've seen him not wear a mask as much as wear one. I think he's doing it when he is required to and not doing it when he's not required to. Much like the majority of people...but anyway that's neither here nor there at this point in this thread...carry on Kloppo.

there is no other man on this planet that fits this club like Jürgen. The socialist ideals of Bill Shankly are met by him he is a good man with good ethics and morals and is the person we need now and tomorrow.  This club of ours in the City of Liverpool has to be run in a certain way to ensure the supporters feel comfortable with how it is run and where it is going. For me the Owners have always been about their investment and the end game when they decide to leave and take £billions out of the club. We are at a cross roads if the owners want to protect their investment they need to listen to jurgen if they dont they need to leave

      Yep, like a glove

If you're tired of Klopp, you're tired of life

I can't think of a person (outside my family) who I respect more as a human being. If I could adopt him as a brother I would.

Beggars belief that anyone would question him after what he's achieved here. Some bad bad Reds out there. Spoilt brats. Shocking.

Klopp should be manager here as long as he wants the job, however long that may be.

There are not many coaches coming out onto the pitch with masks on. Jürgen is doing it often. Obviously he's wearing them in the dressing room on matchday, the players may be as well. He went onto the pitch after the Real game wearing one. He has an exemption, so there's no need for him to do that. He himself has tested negative every time, there was no positive cases in the last round of testing, so the risks of either him or the squad getting it from now are low. And if any of them do, they'll be back on the pitch 2-3 weeks later.

He only started wearing them outside the dressing room after the West Brom game. You can argue it's made no difference, but you know the direction the season has gone since then.

Their guidelines are different to ours

They’re all tested so I’m sure he is giving them team talks not wearing masks, it’s more for show and being a role model in wearing them on show

If people see the likes of Jürgen wearing them they’re more likely to themselves
