      The key words are:

“Marc Kosicke, insists there is no chance the German walks away from his job this summer.”

"I'm here as a football coach and a manager and I will do that as long as people let me do that.” Means the owners keep him and no one takes him away. He didn’t say who and which people...  >:D

I do like that he's no longer saying he's gone after 2024  :)

Klopp showing his class again. He has no issues with squad Ole picked against Leicester. #Likeaboss.

Jürgen isnt going to give the Mancs any chances to slag us off by complaining about UTD disrespecting the competition as they did by not even entering the FA CUP. The FA Cup has since then been devalued dramatically.
The man has more class in his little finger than the whole of the scummy club down the E.Lancs.

apart from Jürgen being a good man with a good family he is also smart and knows at his age this is the place for him and we need him as much as he needs us its a perfect match.

Jürgen has been told there is little chance of getting any funds for new signings next season.
So next season is the same as every other season under FSG.

In spite of the fact that no credible back up for vital areas of play has completely bolloxed this season FSG are willing to continue their failed policy of zero financial assistance for soccer related issues.

Is he not just dismissing the likes of Mbappe and Haaland arriving at the club ? Which we all expected anyway ?

Just like last summer the club will buy a few players

There will loads of wheeling and dealing, selling some players to fund some new guys.

And obviously if we do squeek into champions league that will help

Selling will be dependent on other teams having money to spend across Europe which I don't think they will

I doubt the outs will be high again this summer like last

I'm a faux scouser, only learnt that I had scouse roots in my thirties when my wife was looking into family trees and we learnt that my blood grandmother was a scouser - Bootle born and bred. My mother was adopted and mainly brought up in London. I became infatuated with most things Liverpool in my teens, to the extent my first two choices on my UCAS form were both at Liverpool, where I did indeed live out my student days, and happy they were. Clemence, Kennedy A, Hughes, Thompson, Neal, Kennedy R, Souness, McDermott, Case, Johnson/Heighway, Dalglish was my first team, back when we sang Poor Scouser Tommy at a respectable pace!

Some players have to be sold simply to make room for others. No team is ever going to just add players and not sell any.

Who goes will be interesting as the team needs to continue to turn the team over to younger players who'll be the future of the team.

A few out and one or two in, aligned with some younger players filling the squad.
It's been the way as long as I've been a fan.
Jürgen is unlucky that the CB position has been wiped out by injury.
Fabinho to CB was move that caused all the cards to fall.
Never seen a season like it with so many players out injured.

No doubt it's a consequence of COVID and compressed seasons.
FSG should back Jürgen to the hilt, but we know how they operate.
We know what they would do if they thought they'd get away with it too.

Ultimately if all the players get right over the break, if they get one,
I think a CB and a versatile attacker sees us right.
Of course that depends on who stays and who leaves.

We have no players to sell unless the owners are convinced the likes of Salah and Manè will seek success elsewhere to enable the owner’s sell to buy policy.

We are still short of quality back up which has really fu**ed everything up this season, will FSG loan the club monies to rectify this failing?

It seems bricks and mortar are the only project FSG are willing to back, soccer is not up for consideration.

Why do people have selective memory on here?

      Brewster - 23 Million
      Lovren - 10 Million
      Ings - 20 Million
      Kent - 6.5 Million
      Mignolet - 6 Million

And that's not including loan fees for youth players.

There is always business to be done.
Sure we probably won't offload another Coutinho type transfer but it's not needed at this point.

Klopp's interview yesterday was just depressing

Can't plan on buying anyone until we've sold first to see how much cash we can cobble together late in the window

One of the richest clubs in the world and we act like a family on the breadline, rooting through the loft and the garage to see if we can flog something so we can pay for the kids' uniforms for the new school year
