All in all it looks like we got fortunate with officialdom playing the Spuds, there were a couple of incidents where the ref could have shown red and not yellow.

wasnt Tierney involved in this also? when margins are so tight you need correct decisions.

Yes he was. He was also involved in the not sending off of Kane for a two footed tackle on Robertson last year and then he sent Robbo off for a less offensive tackle.

Storm in a teacup. Klopp should know better but we all know what he’s like and that’s why we love him.

He will pay the fine happily and move on.

His inability to call the pen, made worse by the refusal of VAR to intervene cost us the league. Even though the PGMOL acknowledged the mistake and apologised to Everton, though of course not us.
He may well have an unconscious bias when it comes to officiating Merseyside clubs?

Tierney is just a crap ref

This time it may have helped us because it could have easily been a penalty against Konate and a red card against Jota

Just been listening to Klopps interview. He’s just a class act in his response to Sundays match. You lot! don’t deserve him.  😂

The emotion just got the better of him. I'm sure in the cold light of day and he said as much, he thinks that Tierney isn't giving decisions against us out of prejudice.

Their equaliser was down to a poor challenge by Milner. The other issue is the way we defend these free kicks. Defenders try to play the forwards offside as a result we are back peddling trying to mark forwards, as it was Richarlison came round the blind side and got something on it. It's a very risky plan.

Far as bias goes, unconscious or otherwise, Pep said all the bias is in Liverpool's favour. Pep claims all the media are on our side. I mean we have had more than our fair share of ex reds on the mic. Tyler is against us, that's a given.

Personally, on the Ref front, I don't think we are all that badly treated. We get bad calls but so does every other club. We always remember the calls that go against us. But V Spurs we got 3 good ones in our favour..the pen..the Jota 'foul'...the Richarlison pen claim...2 against...The Skipp challenge on Jota...and the 'foul' given against Mo. So 3-2 for us....and we won 4-3.

All human decisions are subject to bias. A good (relatively hard going) book on how and why, is : Daniel Kahneman's "Noise"
It's one of the main reasons judges have to work to sentencing guidelines, otherwise some judges would give a first offender 18 months in gaol, and another set him/her free with a £50 fine. How hungry the judge was at time of sentencing can influence the degree of penalty.

I don't doubt it but it's not exclusive to us. In the course of a game all kinds of emotions come into play but I don't really think we are treated any worse or better than any other club.

Defending the club is worth the fine. Even if he doesn't always go about it in the most diplomatic way, nobody in the end is arsed, and that's one of the reasons we love Jürgen. F*ck the FA.

should take with them evidence of the complete incompetence of the REFS in this Country and the Managers body should support him. I dont go with this "role Model" its for parents to raise their kids and instill good behaviour not some people they see on TV.
Get the decisions right and a lot of the tension will go from games with managers what we need is to introduce modern technology were people could remotely view incidents which the Ref's have missed. ha f***in ha
