And as such, they deserve credit for the success the team has had the past 8 years  ;)

sometimes pre match pep talks are written for a manager and  Antonio has just provided Jürgen with his headline. Antonio has said W.Ham will finish above Liverpool and this game is a six pointer. Does he know Moyes record at Anfield ?

Anyone see him during his presser yesterday...must have been following the Madrid game. When Bellingham hit the winner he kind of chuckled and mouthed "Bellingham" with a wry smile.

Kinda glad he did, would we have Szlobo, Macca or Grav had we landed Beller’s, and if so, would we be a one trick pony and be as frightening as say the MUtants ??

I agree we got 4 new midfielders for almost the same money as bellingham, 3 of the new guys are top quality as well.

I'd have taken Mac, Dom and Jude. I don't believe for a second the money wasn't there. No amount of arguing or convincing will make me believe otherwise. We already had Mac and Dom and bid 115m on Caceido. So we had the money if we really wanted to make the move (and if he wanted to come...maybe he didn't).

Possibly had the cash for a 110m buy, but did we have the money for the 400\500k a week wages, I wonder?

My understanding is that he's on around 200k or so at Madrid. That might be after taxes, not sure. But from what I've read wages shouldn't have been a problem. Could be he just didn't want us, who knows. Would have electrified our midfield alongside Dom and Mac though, no doubt about that.
