I'm really worried about these contract situations now with our top players. I'm worried about everything.

I hoped Jürgen would extend after 2026. For me the worst case was he leaves in 26 with us established back at the top ... 2.0 in full on power mode. I never imagined this.

I’m resigning myself to losing Salah, Trent, VVD, Alisson, Konate, Thiago at some point soon.

Not what I expected to read from my BBC updates when I woke up this morning. Knew this day would be coming at some point but still doesn't make it easier to deal with. It will be the end of an amazing Era of the club. With that in mind hope this can be used as motivation for the boys to collect some silverware this season.

      I can’t do it.
I can’t come to terms with losing them all.

Trent will be with us for his whole career

I expect Ali to also stay with vvd and konate. Makes no sense if they go

Salah is a funny one but hopefully he stays next year

With regard to Xabi. I feel its too early for him. He's just cutting his teeth. 2026 might have been different. I love Xabi but I'm not sure it's the right time. I've no idea.

But I'm going to say this right now ... it can't and won't be Gerrard.

Don’t usually agree with you fella, but you’re correct, absolutely no way would I even entertain that thought ??

Someone must have got the story. Why would we announce it with things going so well on the pitch atm?

Devastating news but when you sit back and look at how this legend operates it must take its toll on the body and mind. Love the man to bits..

This is what I was just thinking. And Jürgen alluded to it. I think there was a suspicion it had got out ... Big exclusive headline tomorrow etc and the club acted. That's the only thing that makes sense.

This was set in stone in November. I don't think anyone said let's leave it until January to announce it. The only way I see that happening is if the club said go away and think about it. If you still feel the same in the new year then we will announce. But the winter break would have been the 'best' time.

I think someone got the story.

Players aren't going to start jumping ship. Salah might go, who knows. The club goes on. A great time, a great era..the Klopp years are coming to an end. Next season a new chapter, a new era opens up. I like, others have seen them all since Sir Bill took over in '59.

Hard to take but the club, the city lives on.

I well remember Bill Shankly, from the mid sixties, when I started following the club. First game I watched being the !965 cup final against Leeds. Sir Bill took great passion in his time as manager. Fans were devasted when he announced his retirement from LFC.

Since then no manager has shown such charisma and passion for the club, until Jürgen Klopp came along, it is understandable the reaction of the fans.

I think most players will stay at the club, who the next manager will be is impossible to predict to my mind.

Think he’d be with Germany sooner or later. Guess it’s time… I’ll bet on him to win the World Cup.

He did not rule out to come back after a year or two. It is just that it would be awkward now bc no good coaches would come here if they knew they just have year. I wonder if LFC pursue him to take a full year off to come back after it and Pep being the head coach for that year.

We still have between 21 to 30 games with the boss depending on how we fare in the cups. Let’s enjoy what we have. I know I’m going to.
