Jürgen mentions to The Athletic that he has turned down the manager's job at Bayern Munich more than once since he came to Liverpool.

Made for this job, he was.

How did he do all that without poaching all the top youngsters around the country and bribing their parents with houses Nr Manchester, and wads of cash, and influencing refs with injury time to suit their needs.
      Mans a miracle worker 😂

Also noticed that every time Chelsea scored a penalty, Ali was quickly up to collect the ball so he could be the one giving it to whichever of our lads was up next. Didn't give Mendy the chance to start any mind games.

All these little things add up to matter.

Psychology has been at the heart of LFC management from the day Sir Bill Shankly  walked into Anfield. He was the one who started it. In that aspect of football, he was 25 years ahead of his time.

Klopp understands that part of sport. It obviously help managing a club like Liverpool, were self belief and the power of mental strength is part of the DNA of the club. Klopp picked up on that when he arrived and he has strengthened that inner core of the club.

Every player new to the club picks up on it and plugs in.

Staggering achievement and a lot of credit to the owners too.  LFC must be widely seen as best club in the world right now, a position which we can rightfully and legitimately seal when we beat Real Madrid and give Sergio Ramos a karmic heart attack on 28th.

thinking about the moans about tradition and so on. Well I like tradition but tradition was the FA Cup was always the last game of the league Season. Tradition was it was a Saturday and 3pm but they changed it because of money. They moan about our Pyro but have it at Wembley before and after the game so it appears its one rule for them and one rule for us.

With Chelsea going for £4.2 billion I think the owners should dig deeper into their pockets..but maybe that's an argument for another time. We are deffo in the top 3 or so. Once we deal with Real..and win the World club championship we'll be No.1

Best of luck with your recent illness by the way.YNWA.

During the Saouthampton pre-match press Conference Jürgen was been asked by a journalist, about the booing during the national anthem on Saturday.

He replied that the fans wouldn't do it, if there was no reason, and he is here not long enough to undersand the reason behind it, because there should be a historical reason behind it and that the english journalists should know better.

      Classy answer once again.

We all see Rafa as one of us but Jürgen is even more one of us.

Never have I seen a greater fit.

Spot on, Klopp is a much better fit for what we are as a club, and how we work.
Rafa is remembered fondly (and rightly so) mostly for his involvement with the Hillsborough justice campaign.
