How many more wins do we need, Pep?

😂, as much as I hate Utd that result felt good.
So close to the title now, plus I fancy Arse or Burnley to take points off them too.

If Arsenal best City midweek that will still be the case.

United will have a good attack line next season with Rashford, Martial, and Fernandes.

Kind of a Mo, Mane, and Bobby lite.

A draw in either that or the Burnley game and it's on for the title to be won at Goodison.

If they beat Arsenal and draw Burnley (or the other way around), they would be on 61 points. If we beat Everton we'll be at 85 points with both of us having eight matches remaining. Mathematically they could still be level with us on points at the end of the season and have a chance to pip us on goal difference, correct?

I mean, that's as far-fetched as you can get, but it wouldn't quite be official yet.

Already seeing this talk in the papers after their win today. Media love bigging up this team with 45 points (37 points behind us btw) and in a battle for 5th place. Yup, they are a juggernaut.

Nah I don’t think so, nothing to particularly worry about IMO. Rashford and Martial have both proven they aren’t exactly prolific scorers and whilst Bobby might not be either, they certainly don’t have his work rate or link the play like him. They are both far too inconsistent to reach their full potential IMO, I think they’d have really started hitting the heights by now otherwise.

Fernandes looks a player though. Whether he maintains that only time will tell. One things for sure though, he has zero interest in helping out defensively from what I’ve seen which could prove costly. Don’t doubt it though that he’s by far their best player. If they miss out on Europe I’d be interested to see if he actually stays beyond the summer. Barca were rumoured to want him and with his performances so far, perhaps they will go in for him, he’s certainly a player they need and wouldn’t shock me if there is a release clause in his contract.

The idea of giving the PL trophy its own column has been considered and rightly dismissed

LFC are determined to ensure that this is viewed across the world as title No 19 rather than a first PL crown. (

No but it would take something quite absurd for us not to win it now, we need just 6 more points, assuming Citeh don't drop any more, we have 9 games in which to do that.

Amazing looking at the table that Leicester, from being our challengers, have now suddenly got sucked into a battle to stay in the top four!

Really do need a win against Villa tonight, because it looks like Chelsea and United are planning on a strong finish.

Think they got complacent. Their 9-0 win vs Saints and the results around that time led to them being very hyped up and I think they believed it a bit too much. At that point the top 3 of us, City and Leicester looked secured as 4th down was quite a way off. Leicester soon got found out though and have been very inconsistent for a couple of months now.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if they ended up slipping out of the top 4.

They took their foot off the gas and lost all momentum.

They were fu**ed after we smashed 4 past them at their place. They never recovered from that Master Class we put on that day!

City v Arsenal game postponed tonight because of that Marinakas bloke who was at the emirates and they’re testing the players.

sh*te timing as think City could have struggled.
