Pellegrini still loves City for some bizarre reason so nothing to see here.

Good second half to come between Spurs and Villa here.

West ham had about as much bite as a toothless octogenarian, City didn't hardly need to get out of 2nd gear, west ham had moments but were clueless in the final third and that defence, garbage is being kind, agree Pellegini for the order of the boot, and that Rodrigo guy very cynical, deserved a yellow couple times.

That there is the classic example of the difference in City and us.

They are ruthless. They not only want to win, but to destroy. Meanwhile, our boys got carried away with 4-0 and messed around for 45 minutes and conceded a cheap goal.

Easy to take your foot of the throttle when there is another match on Wednesday.
City don't have to think about that, because they're not European Champions.

City commit a lot of fouls to stop teams getting momentum when they gain possession. Managers are starting to point to this more and more. Lets hope they start penalising them.

I thought we looked stronger than City did.

Or perhaps, you willfully ignored that a week ago, whilst being "rusty", we took them to cleaners without much effort. Were they trying to "destroy" us then?

Seriously, the season has just started and you are already seeing the difference.

1 game doesn't tell you f**k all, dude. You just want to have a "different" opinion just for the sake of it.

This much is also true. I see Wednesday as a big game, a chance to get another trophy into the cabinet.

Absolutely, no threat to us either of these teams.

Yes but compare the performances and look at the players in each side, Man U look better defensively but still messy in attack, Chelsea just look poor without Hazard.
Do you disagree or expect either team to become much better than we are currently seeing?

All this a timely reminder early on to our lads to bury teams for sixes and sevens when the oppertunity presents itself. No harm in that lesson early on.

In reality I dont see anything we need to be worried about from Arsenal, United or Chelsea today.

We should have enough quality to beat Chelsea.. Going to Old Trafford as your first game as manager was going to be difficult..

Not a surprise to see that result at Old Trafford.

United definitely have better defensive personnel than they had last season and that was exactly where the manager had to start rebuilding their team.  I do expect them to improve on last years finish.

As for Chelsea, Hazard carried that team and I can't see them fluking their way into the top four again.

If one of Leicester or Wolves are going to push into the top six it's going to be at the expense of Chelsea.
