Would have been ideal if Leicester had dropped points but couldn’t have hoped for it to happen against a better opponent. That is going to be crushing for the bitters

But would like Leicester to drop points soon, still a bit too close for my liking.

Let's be honest here, Leicester are no Man City. And we all know, as to how we fared under Rodgers against top 4 teams away.

Their bubble will burst , just a matter of when.

Is that 6 wins in a row for Leicester? BR doing some job there.
Talk that Arse might come in for him - not sure I see it though.
Poch is looking for work, but more likely Utd would go for him.
That loss should take the wind out of the bitters sails, hope we can do better that 2-1 on Wed...
Don't really care as long as we get the 3 points...

So arsenal retook their penalty due to encroachment then scored but players encroached again but the goal stood?

So what’s the rule there then ?

      Here's a thing...

      Brendan Rodgers...to Arsenal?

In the short term you'd think 'he's nuts to go there'. But in the long term? Deeper pockets, better infrastructure, better youth side, greater prestige? And that attack with Auba and co? He could arguably make something close to devastating up front like he did with Suarez, Sturridge and co in 13/14. And if Chelsea are going to falter it's not too late to catch up on that 4th place spot. I think it'd be a smart move.

I think the first one had to be retaken as one of the players who encroached ended up actually clearing the rebound away so he was 'getting an advantage' from coming into the box. Second time around it didn't effect anything so didn't need to be retaken.

Not sure if that's the actual rule but that's what I took from it.

Their two games either side of Christmas could be very telling.

I’m finding it hard to look to much into them games. Well the game with us anyway. If I’m honest I don’t expect us to win that game with it being so close to us getting back from Qatar? Last season a point was bad against them but it wouldn’t be a travesty this time around IMO. We are obviously more than capable of getting the win, but under the circumstances it’s easy to see that this is a game where we could potentially drop points.

Last season there was talk about it being between 3 teams; us, City and Spurs but then not long after Xmas we opened up a massive lead over Spurs with them dropping in form so hopefully Leicester will do the same.

Watched most of the match on Prime. Good quality for their debut night.

Burnley were atrocious. Absolutely zero effort, and no surprise to see Man City having an easy scoring game. No doubt the talk will be about pressure on Liverpool. They're having a laugh. This result means nothing, and our 11 point gap is significant. No matter what happens vs Everton, we are feeling no pressure from City.

There's only 5 teams in the league who have won more than 5 games out of 15.

      Poor.
