Is that beard drawn on never seen a 16 year old with proper looking chin hair before, looks to me like a young Jeff Hardy from the WWE can play a bit too.  ;)

Fook me he’s rapid! Unfortunately he also looks like he has the capacity to go off the rails based on early signs

I do like the way he gets in on his left foot, technically he moves a little bit like Hazzard with the low centre of gravity.

Looks like he might get some minutes at some point this season.

The world we live in. Having a laugh with friends, regardless of whatever poor taste it was in, you never think in a million years it will see the light of day.

He's already apologized. Hopefully the sanctimonious media types will just move along and he will be sure to show it's not a pattern of behavior.

He's either going to be the next Messi or the next Ravel Morrison.

      Can't see anything in between.

Could be between him and Wilson to be the 2nd forward sub out of 7 in a typical league match (Origi the first). Or he could alternate with Shaq as the attacking midfield type.

Not saying he is  nailed on to supplant any of those named for a regular bench spot with the first team , but those are the conversations he will be in . I would look for him in the EFL Trophy, maybe the League Cup, and of course the U23s.

Just watched the replay of the Lyon game, first time I've seen this kid in action. Didn't let the occasion get to him at all, and was one of the most involved players on the pitch after he came on. Seemed comfortable on left and right, and pretty tidy. Seems a great prospect, hopefully will get some minutes in the cups.

Definitely but it's just a reminder that these lads who are valued at many millions and held up as role models with all the pressure that brings with it, are at the end of the day still kids at his age.

Hopefully at Liverpool and under Klopp his maturity will develop.

If the lad goes on to have the career he has the potential too, it may well be an awkward England dressing room in 5 years time 🤣

Many questions I hope you can help answer:

I read Elliot can't sign a pro contract until age 17. So....what kind of "contract" is he controlled by now?

Being unfamiliar with the LFC Academy and its players, how young are the youngest playrs and what type of arrangements are necessary for the players schooling/education? What are the British law requirements regarding age/education/pro soccer contracts?

Note: I suspect the Elliot signing has a bit to do with the "Homegrown Player Rule". LFC's front 3 plus top team subs all are foreign born with no early English affiliation. And with Milner and Henderson aging, the 'homegrown" requirement must be managed constantly

IMO: The kid will be a massive star once he develops a sound understanding of LFC's/Klopp's system. His unbridled goal scoring aggression was eye opening.

He's just a kid, we need to take care of him. He will play for us in the league cup if he works hard in training.

Milner was MOTM due to production, but the dude half his age and literally opposite experience wise stole the show. The kid is certified, clear as day. Bring him along right and we got something special

Looks like we have a cracking prospect at the club in young Elliott. His talent is there for all to say but I was also ImPressed with his decision making, young players often try and do too much but he generally kept things simple, moved the ball quickly, passed it well. Could definitely see him as a regular option off the bench come the 2nd half of the season.

He's a great prospect but in my opinion not close to being a first team player yet. He is however about the only one of our youngsters who really excites me, Curtis Jones is extremely average and seems petrified of taking a defender on or having a shot and Brewster is not that impressive either. Hoever looks quite good though as does the goalkeeper Kelleher.

Jones and Brewster are cracking player's and showed a lot of maturity in the game last night they definitely have a big future here.

Not from what I saw, several times I saw Jones on the ball and he dithered and chose a safe option of passing the ball to a team mate and Brewster struggled to get a pass not to overshoot by 5 m. BTW this is all based on the second half, I didn't see much of the attack in the first half.

BTW I'm not saying that they don't have bright futures, just that they are a long way from the first team.

I was particularly disappointed with Brewster who has been talked up as if he's the new Fowler or Owen, sadly he's not even close from what I can see so far.

Remember that they were facing a 3rd division defence and sh*te goalkeeper, they should have been scoring for fun like Chelsea were.
