Terrible timing for him as we are starting a run if fixtures where he would of gotten a few starts. We have a few options to play the position (if we had cover for CDM would of liked to see what Mac can do in that position) so not too worried about it. Given Slot is still trying to figure out who can play where this is a opportunity to see if someone step up.

Injuries will happen. If you look at the state of the squad now its pretty healthy in terms of absentees.

We can more or less guarantee as the season goes on that this is the strongest the squad will look all season.

If Arne decided taking Diaz and Mac off for Gakpo/Nunez and Harvey would've made the difference, I doubt it.
