He was in the starting 11 before injury last season. No reason why he can’t find that firm again

Dad works on the door at a shisha/bar up north London and has ended up meeting Harvey twice. 

First time he told him he didn't believe he was a Liverpool player and Harvey actually pulled out some pictures of him with Mo and Sadio 🤣

Apparently he is a real good lad, very down to earth and polite.

Squad rotation will be necessary this season, as it has been for a long time. Elliot will be playing almost all his minutes at in the right midfield area. He probably needs a consistent position to settle in the team. Hendo is versatile and might get a significant proportion of his game time in DM covering for Fabinho. He'll probably still get a lot of minutes at RM as well.

We have Fulham, then Palace, then United is the third game. Will be interesting to see who plays against United, that may give a good indication of Klopp's view on a best 11.

But who will lose his place then? I cannot see it.

Make it plain, King. Elliot was a man on a mission before he got hurt. I think the kids ceiling is a super star, and his floor is a very useful squad player. This kids the real deal.

Hoping Carvalho is too.

Without a doubt. He empowered Salah as he was always quick on the lookout for Mo. You can see how much more dangerous Mo is when that spontaneous, instant bit of attack is delivered from midfield.

Agreed - I'd love to see him continue giving the ball as quickly to Mo as possible.

Is it a fair feedback of the Fabinho, Hendo and Thiago midfield to say that they could play the ball a bit quicker to Mo?

100%. Last season we saw how much Jürgen values him when he started Elliott until his unfortunate injury. The kid's a real talent.

He looked like he has fully recovered and I think he has the potential to be a very good player. We need to be careful not to put to much pressure on him but I'd like to see him get lots of minutes on the pitch.
