The competition is not fool proof though I do feel somewhat that Spurs were probably seeking this result in that they don't really want these distractions especially at a time when they've started the season poorly and will be looking to power everything towards just staying in the top 4 at this rate (though they should still do that).

OK in that case we just have to accept that Raheem Sterling is the ultimate footballer, unbelievably fit (capable of playing in every single match), hardly ever any injuries and of course very very good.

Just gutted as it could have been us playing here. We'd have turned Leicester over no problem & that's all we would have needed to do to get to the final. Basically been fu**ed over because we had the audacity to win the Champions League the previous season. Disgraceful from the EFL

Typical shitty city fans, their ground is often half empty for important games.

This trophy has essential become a series of practice matches for City's fringes players (signed by financial doping) when you consider the draws they've got. On top of that, their only real competition weren't given a fair chance to challenge for the trophy.

Exactly, whilst it’s a trophy to win I’m more interested in the PL and CL, the latter of which City won’t be winning any time soon.

City have 24 first team player sin their squad they need these games to keep them all happy we only have 15 or so quality experienced players .
