We're playing MK Don's away in the next round of the league Cup.

Play an ultra reserve side in this comp. It really isn't important and at best is just a distraction.

Brown can thank his lucky stars, wouldn't have been a popular man if Spurs ended up winning that. Ahead on penalties so he tries a panenka.

No one ever lost their job on the back of a humiliating league cup defeat. Just ask Roy.

The competition is not fool proof though I do feel somewhat that Spurs were probably seeking this result in that they don't really want these distractions especially at a time when they've started the season poorly and will be looking to power everything towards just staying in the top 4 at this rate (though they should still do that).

I hope both City and Leicester make it to the final then Leicester win with a goal that should have been ruled offside. ;D

F**k Leicester after what I heard from a blue in work today. Apparently their support were singing "Boris will take your benefits" to Everton. No F***ing doubt they'll be singing it to us on boxing day too and that chant will end up being the next bantz that little England fans from all over the country will bring to Anfield and Goodison .

Maybe Villa will win it, I'm just hoping to see City have a trophyless season (I guess they can't if you count the Community Shield).

United taking a hammering here. Next season I hope we settle at OT and dominate them rather than the shaky stuff we produce there.

We are infinitely better than them
