Be amazed if trent doesn't start. Especially at home.

Soon see, be hard dropping Matip and I think Gomez gave a good account of himself. Might save Trent for the Chelsea game.

It's weird Bravo stays with them, he'd be number 1 in most teams.

Me too, but proud of the boys, we deserved  to win on that 2nd half performance alone.  City were rattled, especially Pep, they won’t look forward to playing us.

Always disappointed to lose but plenty of encouraging signs for the long slog ahead.

Losing on pen's ain't bad, Klopp can look at the boys and say we had them, while at the same time remind them there can be no let down and city (if they didn't know already) know this is going to be a slog of a season.

Gini's only contribution was his penalty, and that was rubbish. The lad just isn't good enough in midfield.

When we go at them they sh*t themselves we were much the better team in 2nd half.

No other team can play them off the park like we can and like we will this year.

Oh and Pep you really are a fraud and a bell end, sitting there like a rabbit in the headlights when we were tearing you apart, utter cock.

      Fantastic match.
Pep is such a hatable snot

MOTM was impossible to call. Salah's work rate was incredible but he couldn't get it on net (once between the pipes) and chose only to be a solo artist until he finally dished at the end to Shaqiri. Good Mo/Bad Mo.
      Mids had little impact
RB was exposed on defense. Teams look to push the ball up the left side, similar to last spring. Seems teams are targeting TAA.
      Bobby F was mostly invisible
Origi controlled the ball well but didn't dish with any success
What's with Allison betting on the push penalty shot 4 times in a row?

No Mane so I have to suppress my desire to blame the game plan of feeding Salah 100% of the time and hoping he can carry the ball thru gobs of traffic.
Keita showed some ambition with his fresh legs compared to the starting 3 who spent the match watching long balls go over their heads in both directions.

      Hell of a final rehearsal
And big hats off to LFC's fan base....incredible presence today ....as always

Good enough to be a mainstay (he played more than all the others) in a midfield of a team that racked up 97 points in a season and win the European Cuo. Good enough to come off the bench and score 2 in our most famous ever comeback.

Of course he’s bloody good enough.

From 3000 miles away, my read is Pep has multiple issues...
      - Doesn't receive the credit he believes he deserves because of ManC's wallet size
      - Despite multiple PL trophies, he feels he will always dwell in the inescapable shadows cast by ManU and LFC
      - Hates all the Klopp adoration
      - CL failures eating him from the inside
      - Programmed to be a petty snot

Yeah he came across as a dickhead today, the only reason I wanted us to win was to piss him off.
We really should have won it in the second half but Mo very sloppy, but I'll let him off in preseason.

Pep ain't stupid he'll know we should have won that and he won't like it. Obviously Friday is the huge priority and I really want us to win the Super Cup as you only play in that when you've won a European trophy plus I'll be in a pub in Salou watching that :ernaehrung004:

The fact their players celebrated the pens win like they'd won tthe European Cup spoke volumes. We frightened them today. Started off slowly, but we were the better team by the end of the game.

Our travelling support sounded loud & proud today. Their support is a F***ing joke

Yeh Mo looked good man especially considering he hasn't played 90 min of pre season.  I think he is going for golden boot again.  And Bobby was on it too at the beginning what touch and shot in the first half.   We were the better team we should have scored 2.
